An Open Letter to the TNZ Mods

Dear staff,

We don't want your castoffs here. This hasn't been a right wing haven since before the iPhone was released. And even if it we're, the TNZ rejects that show up are mental migdets.

Before sending your castoffs here because you're too lazy to do your jobs, maybe come here and post here for a while and see what the place is like. It's past the glory days, but there's a reason it hasn't folded when so many other TBBS offshoots have long crumbled.

He told me that y'all were far right. When I told him that the first post I saw here was by a Bernie supporter and stated that if that is what he call far right then he must be a full on Stalinist, he predictably got all huffy.

When I suggested that maybe it just meant that the moderators over here were actually just more tolerant than the activist SJW crowd over at TrekBBS, he got predictably enraged. All of the mods for the Discovery forum over there are Leftwing loons, with zero tolerance for anything to the right of Mao.

The Discovery forum isn't the right place to discuss politics in the first place, guy.

Their mods made it plain that it's OK to discuss politics there as long as it is bashing Trump.

If someone posts there "Trump is Hitler!" there will be nothing done.

If someone uses the term SJW in a generic sense, there will be a rapid ban.

No, but that reminds me of my cousin Walter. He got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall, so the whole fiasco wound up on the news. It was embarrassing for my relatives and all. But the next week, he did it again. Different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room. So I run into him a week later at the mall and he was buying another cat! And I said to him, "Jesus, Walt, what are you doing? You know you're just gonna get this cat stuck in your ass, too. Why don't you knock it off?" And he said to me, "How the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy.

You know, @Feron, I was posting in the Discovery thread where you first got warned. You and I were actually in agreement until you started freaking out about SJWs.

A cursory look at TBBS should have told you it isn't exactly Breitbart. Even in the non-political sections there's anti-Trump sentiment, sure. And I get it, you're not liberal and you disagree with liberal philosophy. That's fine. But you kept harping on it and deliberately using "SJW" as a pejorative to piss people off. If you had been more subtle or just dropped it, you'd have been fine. But you were on a crusade the second someone disagreed with you.

I'll say it again: I completely agree that people give SMG a pass on her ridiculously bad acting because she's a minority woman series lead on Star Trek. But if people disagree with me, so what? Why insult them and start posting these diatribes?

You are quite correct that I "probably wouldn't last five minutes there", but not for the reason that you most likely believe.

The reason why I, or other conservatives, "wouldn't last five minutes there" is because the moderators are all far left SJW activists who actively ban and purge anyone who doesn't spew the Party line. It is a testament to your absolutely retarded beliefs that you have to censor political opinions that you disagree with. It shows that you know deep down inside that you don't have a real argument.

Short answer: SJWs are "Social Justice Warriors", who use an Orwellian term to mask their hateful behavior. They riot and otherwise disrupt in order to strip people who are not far Left of their basic rights such as freedom of assembly or freedom of speech.

The main riot commemorated in the above was when SJWs at Berkeley rioted and set fires to prevent a gay Jewish libertarian from giving a speech at a planned and paid-for event simply because he had said nice things about Donald Trump. In classic SJW fashion, they stated that they needed to censor a gay Jew "because he is a Nazi!!"

It's a textbook example of what happens when people with a certain toxic ideology get moderation powers in a fandom community. This is how fandom communities die, btw. No one wants to enter into an envrionment where they have to constantly walk on egg shells for fear of being come down upon by a toxic clique for disagreeing with the mainstream opinion. Or when they want to discuss something about the show, and it all turns into political ranting, because these people don't give two shits about the fandom, not really, all they want to do is make sure that their opinion is the dominant one.
