Fascist-loving scum like @Paladin have been far too brainwashed for any of that to work. The only solution is public trials and executions for their aiding and abetting treason.
I can actually kind of buy this. The sensible course of action for a president who's either in league with or being blackmailed by Putin would be to publicly demand extradition of the hacking suspects, then go into that private one-on-one meeting and say "Look, I'm going to rattle the saber, but I don't expect you to actually do this, and while I'm talking tough about a handful of highly visible issues, I'll quietly make sure that you and your oligarch buddies get everything you want under the table." This sounds more like a combination of immaturity and insecurity, both of which Donnie Smallhands has in spades. The immaturity manifests itself as "My enemies say Putin is bad, so I'll say he's good to own the libs" and "Whatever you criticize me for, I'm just going to do it more, neener neener." The insecurity manifests itself as "He's strong and he says nice things about me, so I will fawn all over him like a lovesick puppy."
I couldn't disagree more. They should be separated from their wives and children and locked away in cages....
FWIW, both Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan went against Trump today and sided with the intelligence community.
Well, I can't promise that, but as I said to Federal Foetus earlier in the thread, there are definite hints the worm is turning. Fox were very critical of Trump's conduct in the UK and many Republicans have sided with the intelligence community over Helsinki today. I wouldn't be surprised if the GOP is on the verge of suffering what our Tories have suffered with Brexit, internal division between those who would defend Trump at all costs and those who will only go so far and won't take their career to support a mad man.
GOP offers modest rebuke to Trump after Putin press conference President Donald Trump drew quick criticism from a handful of Republicans for aligning with Vladimir Putin and dismissing Moscow's electoral sabotage — but few GOP lawmakers signaled concrete plans to act on their alarm about Trump's remarkably cozy appearance with the Russian president. Color me surprised.
Libtards loved Wikileaks when they were going after conservatives and exposing the NSA-surveillance state by manipulating and using dimwits like Bradley Manning. Progressives have worshiped Assange as a martyr of American oppression for years. But oops! When Wikileaks does something to damage dumbfuck Dems, suddenly they're public enemy #1. Idiot libtards.
So, as I understand it, here's what I'm being asked to believe by the hysterical lamestream media, which has been in full-on attack mode vs. Trump for the past two years: That Russia has videotape of Trump with hookers, and they're playing golden shower. Trump, not wanting to deal with the global humiliation that this videotape would bring, is now capitulating to Putin in a desperate attempt to keep the tape from being leaked. Sure. Problem is, there's no concrete evidence that the "pee tape" actually exists. There's plenty of speculation and rumor-mongering, but no proof. If it exists, it must be like the Dominion plans to invade Romulus, buried deep within the bowels of Dominion HQ on Cardassia Prime. Is that the sum total of this "Trump the Russian puppet" theory? Or are we throwing in Trump's fear that some shady business dealing with Russian oligarchs will be exposed? The Russian collusion case is dead. No evidence that anyone in the Trump campaign "colluded" with Russian agents to hack DNC voicemails or emails, which is why the only people you see being indicted are Russians. Just like there's not one shred of actual proof that Russian trolling on social media actually convinced anyone who may have been leaning toward Hillary to vote for Trump instead. You can trot out fake accounts, or accounts linked to Russian entities, but what they can't do is produce even one person who says that they switched from Hillary to Trump based on some shit that a Russian troll stirred up on Twitter or Facebook.
I think Trump is more than capable of making a fool of himself without needing to be a Russian agent. He does it routinely in other areas too. If he actually was a Russian agent, he'd be deader than fried chicken right now.
He doesn't need to be a Russian agent, he just needs to be an easily manipulated Russian asset, and he's certainly playing that part convincingly.
