Here's a Liberal Orthodoxy Quiz for you. Let's see just how Intersectional you are!

    @Ramen is a non-white Asian.

Is it possible for @Ramen to be racist?

    1) Yes
    2) No

    Thank you.

Charleton Heston in a MAGA hat in a Smollet hoax thread is funny. "It's a mad house!" Not apropos?

Not sure I get the rest of that - are you saying Ramen is a "notorious racist" from something other than his prior post before this one?

And do you think the people expressing their outrage in that thread are better people because they posted something on teh webz ?

And do you equate saying "hi" to Ramen with being a racist? Guy's a troll doing another drive by, but that's not the totality of Ramen as I recall.

For the Wf "literate:" I don't think lynchings or historical photos of them are a good thing. I think they're a bad thing.

"To be" is simply the wrong verb to use here. @Ramen took it upon himself "to post"
many racist sentiments. He even chose "to represent (himself)" with an avatar featuring Adolf Hitler. A most lulzy troll, to be sure. Jussie Smollett probably thought the same thing about his little scheme.

Actually, this Smollet thing is much much worse.

Ramen's post had a chance of doing about 1 on a 100 scale of detriment to society. His post did not advocate anything. His post did not express an opinion on anything. He's an anonymous dude on an internet message board, a tech that's nearly obsolete.

Smollet's easily over 50/100, maybe 75/100. Short of violence (on anyone but himself) he attempted to foment hate. And his agenda was to confirm an environment of hate many dispute even exists. So he was mind fucking America. And superficially it may look like just a repeat of the Sharpton/Twana Brawley style hoax, but he was worse than Sharpton.

Sharpton was also trying to make himself richer and more powerful by joining the hoax without any evidence, he was just an opportunist. But Smollet was playing writer/actor/director all in one, much scummier.

Smollet's best defense right now?: temporary insanity born of TDS. He could blame the media for his deranged view of the world - and he could win on that one.

McCabe too- who but a mentally deranged person could say -on national tv - without a shred of evidence - that he thinks Trump is a Russian agent? Obviously McCabe has temporary insanity too. Any rational person would have to agree. How did he get that way? The Steele Dossier Hoax? The MSM hoax? Is there really an important difference between them at this point?

I have to agree, there is a lot of superiority and racism in some Asians.

Claiming there are no racists in a certain race is stupid. The difference is the society they come from and the power they can have over other races. An Asian in America cannot use their racism as much as a Japanese racist in Japan, or a Chinese racist in China. @Dinner 's racism would not be as terrible if he were to live in Iran. It does not mean the racism does not exist.

speaking of: I wish I could find a certain comedy routine by David Allen Grier where he has a hand puppet of an asian store owner. The store owner puppet has a broom and Grier is trying to shop while the puppet sweeps, and the puppet keeps staring at him thinking he might shoplift. He looks up and she looks away real fast like she was only sweeping. Damn if anyone can find this clip post it please. Granted Grier is smart & funny all the time, but this bit is awesome!

Incredibly, Don Lemon thinks Smollett's arrest comes as a consequence of losing some battle of public opinion.

No, Don. Smollett lost on the facts which clearly indicate his guilt but which you are unwilling to acknowledge.

Justice should be a matter of truth, not simply a PR issue or alignment with some ideological narrative.

Lemon thinks Smollett was poorly advised to go on morning shows rather than on journalism shows to defend himself. Newsflash, Don: if he had--and journalists did their f**king jobs--his story would've fallen apart even more quickly.

yeah Don Lemon makes no fucking sense - Smollett would have been made to look like an even bigger liar (in front of a bigger audience) than he turned out to be. Both those guys are pea-brained pinheads.

okay admittedly I'm no financial expert - and certainly not TV producer - but how exactly would being attacked increase your worth as an actor?

Police superintendent: "I just wish that the families of gun violence in this city got this much attention"

FAKE NEWS superintendent! Many people on word forge have told me that Chicago doesn't have a problem with gun violence! :drama:

Not difficult to understand. He raises his public profile. Appears to be the victim of a hate crime. Makes lots of public appearances. The producers of "Empire" offer him more money to keep him around in case he might be interested in other opportunities.

Publicity stunts have been done for years.

Writing a letter to the President to recommend that he pardon Smollet on the fed side and ask Governor to do same on the false police report charges.

Pres could acknowledge that Smollett was probably well intentioned and just deluded due to circumstances beyond his control. What I called TDS-driven temporary insanity, just like Nova in the Mueller thread, nothing will break her fantasy fed to her by years of CNN indoctrination, Trump got in because Russia and Mueller will reveal that to public. E.g. Quest is free of the delusion, so we know freedom is possible.

Something's gotta break the mass hysteria holding the CNN-left in thrall. Maybe pardons on such a high profile case could do it.

Not originally my idea, but I like it. Never happen though imo.

[shoes, searched for half hour to retrace where I found the report of the experts determining the approx. 200 miles needed, unsuccessful, sorry didn't get back to you with link yet, will keep on it]

I remember going to classes at my college and seeing a banner strung across the front gates proclaiming "Academic Integrity Week."

A friend of mine wryly wondered why that was limited to just one week per year.

For one Smollet needs to compensate the police and related agencies in Chicago three times over for the expense and manpower they wasted on this.

I heard that twelve detectives worked on Smollet's hoax. If they had not wasted that time they might've solved a couple of murders.
