"a decent pension" isn't a standard benefit of working full time for a majority any more. Along with many things boomer could expect, such as stable and secure employment.

I doubt he has worked long enough to earn one of those yet.

Get off your ass and qualify yourself for a job with a pension. Lots of companies and government agencies do have one. My neighbor worked almost 30 years at UPS and earned her pension and you could too. Hell, aren’t you working under the table as a bouncer in an unlicensed bar without paying taxes or am I confusing you with a different Canadian poster?
