Meh. Both sides on Wordforge have always done so much broad-brushing that I regret not having some of these made up with our logo on it.

You know if Joe Biden was in college with the way colleges run their "investigations" concerning allegations of rape Joe would have already been found guilty and expelled.

Ahhh, gotta love the Democrats. If there's a way to fuck up an election, they'll find it.

smart move actually! Checks all the blocks for maximum electability. I wonder if she thinks "these fuckers didn't want me for HMIC but now that their boy is losing his marbles and won't go the distance if elected I'm okay?" because I might be if I were her.

Republicans flip back a seat in California. First time in 20 years they've done that.

The seat was GOP held until 2018 when the Dems took it but now it's been taken back in a special election. There is another election in six months.

To clarify the above since it might read confusing......

Democrats that have flipped seats from the GOP to the Dems have held those seats for years. This is the first time in 20 years that the Republicans took back a seat that had been flipped by the Democrats.

I will admit that looks like something. It could also be a lack of voting by dems due to covid. Since dems are more likely to adhere to the rules they may not have shown up as much for this special election while Republicans came out in force.

the dems should look at this in regards to November to plan for what might keep dem voters home and get out mail in ballots to combat what may be a lower dem turnout.

They're still counting votes until Friday due to California's lax vote by mail laws. So this isn't over yet.

Not to dismiss the Never Trumpers, but I don't think their opposition to Trump was specifically about his sexual assault allegations. They did not, as far as I know, call for each and everyone of his sexual assault allegations to be investigated the way some Democrats have called for the Tara Reade allegations to be investigated. Nor did they call for him (as far as I know) to quit before he was the nominee, when he was the nominee, or now that he has been the president over sexual assault or anything else. Their opposition to Trump was principled, yes, but it did not match what some Democrats have done over Tara Reade.

The video I linked shows republicans asking for Trump to drop out of the race. But if you don't like videos here's an article from NPR on the subject...
Wake me when you can produce a list of democrats doing the same for Biden. Right now they're all standing behind him. Many of them women hoping to be his vice president.

Wake the rest of us when you can show that every one of these individuals was refusing to support Der Drumpfenfuhrer solely based on his sexual antics and not on his history as a business failure, a deadbeat who didn't pay his bills, a shyster who defrauded the students at his "university," and New York's Biggest Slumlord. :bailey:

    Chickenshit.

Your point seems to be that these people were indifferent to his history as a business failure, a deadbeat who didn't pay his bills, a shyster who defrauded the students at his "university," and New York's Biggest Slumlord. What does that say about them, or you?

To me, the Never Trumpers' message was part of a strategy session where they agreed "Hey, seriously. How many of the contractors he stiffed or the students he defrauded or, yanno, those people in the slums would actually vote for him, anyway? We can't risk losing the women's vote, now, can we?"

And of course the credibility of the accusations has nothing to do with it...

I have yet to see any explanation of why a women who had been as despicably violated as Reade claims she was by Biden would spontaneously come forward years later, on multiple occasions, and say he "speaks truth" in the very area in which she knows him to be a blatant hypocrite.

Until someone can come up with a reasonable explanation for that, her claims (which just "happened" to come right when she was disappointed because her chosen candidate had been roundly rejected by the voters) appear to be more politically motivated than anything else.

Honestly, watching the sheep trying to cover for their team this cycle has been hilarious. How hard is it to open a link and read? I'm not going to quote an entire article just because some people are too lazy or stupid to open a link.

Here's the entire list of Biden endorsements so far. The list is so long, that it can't all fit in one post due to wordforge limitations. But basically,it's almost every single member of the democratic party who has been elected to public office. It's that big. There's no comparison.

When the same consideration wasn't given for others in the past? No, I'm not buying it. These democrats who raved against Trump and Kavanaugh and who are now supporting Biden are total hypocrites and shallow human beings. They could give a shit about women or anyone else they claim to care about It's all about leveraging themselves for power. Women issues are simply a vessel for them. Nothing more. The fact that so many of you buy their bullshit year in and year out is what's sad.

She's at least as credible as Christine Blasey Ford, and Joe Biden has a history of touching women and children without their permission, and that's in public. I won't be the one who says "she's no angel," because that has been used to discredit accusers for decades. The Republicans used it against Ford, now the Democrats are using it against Reade. Anyone who does this is awful, because they're willing to defend the powerful man who can sidestep the charges rather than the woman who came forward, and who will face a far worse public fate than the accused.

It does, however, shine a bright light on what people actually believe about the women rather than the men they stand up against, and how far we still have to go when it comes to equal rights.

I've never said that Reade was a credible person . I've said before that she has problems with her story. They are the same problems that any woman has when choosing to wait decades to go public with such a claim. People are going to question their motive. I questioned Ford when she waited decades until Kavanaugh was ready to be confirmed to SCOTUS with her rape allegation . And of course the usual party sheep backed her every step of the way regardless of the fact that Ford couldn't even name the place that the alleged incident happened in nor get corroboration from people she said that were there. My views on such allegations aren't going to shift with party affiliation. That's the difference and that is what happened here. If Reade was making the same suspect claims against Trump or any other republican, democrats along with the rest of left forge would be calling for removal from office. Facts be damned.

Ford, as far as I know, never voluntarily praised Kavanaugh as someone who is supportive of sexual assault victims the way Reade praised Biden.

Ford, as far as I know, has never volunteered for an organization that was specifically a rival for Kavanaugh the way Reade volunteered for Sanders.

Ford, as far as I know, never said that Kavanaugh only sexually harassed her and did not sexually assault her, as Reade and one of her witnesses told the press about a year ago.

Ford passed a polygraph test about her allegations. Reade has not and says she would only be willing to take one if Biden does first (which she has to know is not going to happen).

It is one thing to give accusers the benefit of the doubt as a starting point. But they do not deserrve the benefit of all possible doubt after inconsistencies arise.
