I know I give you a hard time about your racism. I know I give you a hard time about your political views. but I do recognize you are not the same sort of racist that wants to lynch black people. I just do not see you distancing yourself far enough from those people when you are obviously standing with them and seemingly making excuses for them.

Think about the perspective and realize when you are on that side you cannot be the one making excuses for those types of people. You are not being the voice of reason at that point because you are too far on their side. To put it on the opposite end garamet does no good excusing Biden sniffing and molesting women because she is too caught up in his cult. When she says give him a chance because it is not that bad no one with a brain wants to hear it because she is way too far on his side. When she makes the excuses for him she just comes off as a sycophant. That is what you are running into. You have defended trump and his supporters so many times that when you try to excuse their actions it is legitimately seen as support. You might think, and may actually be, saying the same thing as a reasonable person, but because we know you and your history we cannot see you as a neutral party trying to calm things down. The real motive that comes out of it is that you do not want your people to face the consequences of their actions and statements so you are trying to make excuses for them.

No one likes that. No one buys that shit when trump supporters say it. You are not owning the libs by saying it, but you are digging yourself deeper into the shit. I am surprised in your ability to dig deeper, but you are doing it like a champ, and a chimp, and a chump.

Yes you are right! Trump said that he loved these two specific individuals! Trump plans on going golfing with them after posting their bail. No possible way Trump meant that he loved people supporting him by attending the peaceful portion of the Capitol debacle. Twitter users will back me up on this, and every twitter user (now that Trump is banned) is vetted and their tweets monitored for content.

Let's play make-believe that Trump had no idea that some of his supporters were white supremacists, even though white supremacists have been well-documented to have supported him, being on video saying "Heil Trump!" with arm salute, even though Charlottesville, even though he had at least a couple alt-righters in positions of power in his administration, even though he retweeted white supremacist accounts, etc.

What he said was "We love you" to all the people who were protesting. These two were among the people protesting.

 

If he didn't intend to support white supremacists, the only remaining conclusion is that he's so insecure and desperate for adulation that he will fawn over literally anyone who says nice things about him, no matter how disgusting they are.

Neither is a good trait in a president. And while the first is more amoral, the second is arguably more dangerous.
