I think libertarians can enjoy the benefits of a healthy environment just as much as anyone else ... while remaining blissfully naive about the way the policies they support are constantly working against that outcome.

Of course he cares about the environment. He just doesn't want to pay for it, or be inconvenienced by rules designed by big gubmint to protect it.

Poll ratings are, in today's climate, nonsense. Because they don't show any real data except who's a Democrat and who's a Republican.

Despite that, Biden will never have approval ratings the way trump did and it's not because trump was a better president. It's because those who supported trump only cared about 2 or 3 different issues - abortion and guns.

Biden, on the other hand, must attempt to appease a wide range of issues including, but not limited to - women's rights, LGBTQ rights, gun control, economic equity, health care, student loans - already we're at 200% more issues than trump had to deal with and that is not even a complete list.

So, everyone fully expects Biden's numbers to drop significantly. That will not in any way diminish anything he accomplishes.

I am actually hopeful. Biden is listening, and he may feel the urge to do really good things. He has a congress full of pissbabies below him. Maybe he has evolved and seen some progressive light and wants to make a positive mark in his term rather than just being the guy who won against the worst president ever. I am putting ever out there because there is a very strong argument that the orange cheetolini was the worst ever. When america goes big, we go big.
