If it were just me, I’d definitely question it. In fact, I did. I looked at the articles presented by FF. But in doing so, I found things that also made me think my original premise was correct. Also, @Nova, I’m certain, has done way more research than I have as she is directly affected. My research has been a vague passing interest with no real world consequences for myself or anyone I know. And even @Nova’s research backs up my opinions. So, it’s not just me.

I don't know why I go out of my way but... One doesn't have to be a paying customer of or even have experience or a passing interest in something to have a perfectly valid, good-faith opinion about that something. Which is not to say that the White Knights in question are leaping into the fray because they are actually concerned about the unfairness of trans athletes suddenly dominating women's sports. What's in question here is whether Fallon Fox who was in her thirties at the time and had the advantage of living 30 + years of being a man and had not received puberty blockers and had only been taking hormones for two years, which at least one endocrinologist agrees is an advantage, and is the likely source of Joe Rogan's that informs his opinion, plus his experience with MMA fighting that led him to make the statement he did regarding her having an advantage and whether or not that's a reasonable position and that maybe, just maybe he's not against transgender athletes or anti-trans, but just doesn't think they should be fighting cis gendered females because of said advantage. Jordan Peterson on the other hand only refused to be forced by the university to use preferred pronouns.
