"Demanding"... LOL. She said it was a good step and the White House would LIKE to see other companies do more to address misinformation. Greenwald and Carlson are just up in arms because they know full fucking well how much misinformation THEY'VE been spewing.
Do you really think that the White House should be getting involved in something like this? If it were Trump you’d be shitting yourself right now.
Expressing a positive opinion of a move the industry has made itself is equal to saying "the press are the enemies of the American People!" and encouraging your supporters to attack journalists in what we might laughingly refer to as your brain, is it?
I think it depends on the situation. If the White House is calling for censorship of specific people for using the n-word, I'd be skeezed out. If they are calling for fact-checking, it seems more appropriate. (I started to type a positive "what if Trump had said such-and-such" about fact-checking misinformation and it was so unbelievable I had to stop.)
Contrary to what Trump would have you believe, it’s the White House’s job to stop a pandemic from killing its citizens. If there’s misinformation being spread that impedes them doing their job, then they should be on top of that
Yikes, that Planet of the Apes comment is not a good look for old Joe That might be the end of it for him. Life moves pretty fast
I am shocked that someone who used a Nazi avatar and has recently said that black people are biologically and cultural not inclined to be as successful as whites might also think that the N word isn't really a big deal.
He's right Bailey, that particular cunt was Paladin. Though these days it's getting harder to tell them apart since Pals seems to have regressed to childhood. I think it's manageable in that Pally seems to only use the white crayon.
Fox is corporate media, and I'm sure they love the taste of Rogan's balls. Ditto Reason and Infowars. "Corporate" here is code for liberals and/or Jews. I love how big right-wing media still likes to pretend they're the plucky underdog.
For example do you ever see Jordan Peterson on MSNBC debating transgenderism with proponents of transgender people?
No, but then again, I don't watch MSNBC. But why should they have Peterson on to have such a debate to begin with?
No, but typically news programs invite guests to discuss topics on which they have some particular expertise. It should of course be noted that the JRE is not a news program.
Peterson is a psychologist, he knows about gender dysphoria as well as other psychological conditions.
Okay have Abigail Shierer on who’s a journalist and has done research on people who regretted taking hormone blockers and transitioning. They don’t want that because go against THE MESSAGE!
Is she the one who got caught fabricating cases? Dinner liked to bring up someone who had done that when he talked about trans issues and refused to listen to people who pointed out that the reporter had made things up. But, really, WTF should you even care about someone wanting to be called by a different pronoun? It’s not like you’re using your real name here. If Libertarians are really all about protecting the rights of the individual, then shouldn’t you be supportive of someone who decides to go against the grain of society?
I don’t believe it’s anti-trans to suggest that these people have underlying psychological issues and maybe we shouldn’t rush to give kids hormone blockers and chop their dicks off. This is the problem though, the left is so looney that we can’t even have a National conversation about it, we’re just forced to accept it and not ask any questions. Should any question arise, you’re labeled transphobic and a bigot and banned from social media. This is why Joe Rogan is being attacked because they’ve losing THE MESSAGE.
