Nah, that was adult humor getting past the censors. Looney Tunes problems were the ealier episodes that WB acknowledged as racially insensitive in the DVD collection.

Not sure why that one point is being highlighted. The list as a whole is true. A far leftist movement would be advocating for the working class to own the means of production.

The fact that 98% of the 99% find the statement horrifying just reinforces the statement itself. There is no far leftist movement in the US.

The far right has so overwhelmingly won the propaganda wars that most Americans think universal health care will somehow bring about the death of The American Dream.

    That's not wrong.

20 years ago, I was for reforming the system radically. But now I'm 9-14 years away from collecting and I'm not interested. I'm gonna say: gimme my damned check, and I don't give a shit about how hard you have to work to cover the taxes to pay for it. It's too late to get me on board with changing after I've spent 35 years paying into it.

And that's why the younger generations says old people shouldn't be making political decisions. It's too short sighted.

Funny how everyone's ready to throw democracy overboard when it hands them the bill.

And short-sighted? Because I expect to get the payout from the 14% of my income I had no choice but to pay over the last 35 years?

Like I said, I was for changing it when I was young. But now that I'm close to collecting, you can bet I'll be resisting any reforms.

Sorry, but now that you've taken my money, you're going to pay me what you promised. Your tax burden is not my problem.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. When you were young and it benefitted you to make changes, you were willing to do so. Now, when it benefits you to keep the status quo, you are no longer willing to make changes. That is definitely short sighted and it sure as hell isn't the younger generation's fault that you might not get back every dime you were promised.

Guess what. That happens to a lot of people every fucking day and you don't care. So, why should anyone care about you? Who cares if you don't get that last dime? Those changes will benefit many people in future generations.

That's an entitlement program for you.
I intend to get every dime and then some. The politicians promised me Social Security benefits and I'm gonna hold them to it. It's too late for me to do something else; the money'a already been taken.

Work harder, young people. You gotta support your elders...just like we had to.

That's not what an entitlement program is. and if you are against it, you definitely should not be accepting it now or in the future. Otherwise, you're just a freeloader.

And here we have it - When it's Paladin, it's "I'm entitled to it so give it to me!" But, when it's someone else, it's "You're not entitled to shit!"

That is exactly what an entitlement program is. I'm entitled to it.
I'm not a freeloader. I've paid for recipients for the last 35 years and will continue for the next ten or so.
I was willing to forgo it before I spent decades paying for it. But once my money has been taken, I expect it back. You can't expect me to struggle through my retirement years, or not to retire.

And, yes, this is why I'm opposed to entitlement programs. But I was told I wanted to see grandma live on dogfood if I opposed Social Security, so here we are.

No, when I say "it's not an entitlement program", what I'm saying is that the program is not an "entitlement" in that you are not guaranteed you will be refunded those funds. What it means is that as long as they program is in place, you will be refunded what the program is capable of refunding you.

Pretty sure you're invoking that fallacy incorrectly.

    Per Wikipedia:
It's not "No True Scotsman" every time somebody points out that a label has been misapplied.

Even the table seems determined to stop him breeding.

I'm more curious as to why he needs both hands for a pistol grip.

You'd imagine a wanker of his magnitude would have excellent grip strength.

Possibly the gun handle is a tad bigger than his usual grip?
