I'm not a professional historian and I never have been. I wrongly used that title because at the time I was a student of history and thought of myself as an ammeter historian. I admitted some of this years ago and have since stopped using that title. People still continue to use that against me and yeah I let it get under my skin. I take it personally because history class was pretty much the only thing that came naturally to me as a kid, I was good at it. I've since found a few other things that I seem to be a natural at, but history was the first. So yeah, I fucked up by using that title and I tried letting it go, but there's always someone here that brings it up because even if I let something go, others don't so it kind of pisses me off. I'm tired of people responding to me with "historian", just like I'm tired of being referred to as a kid or a teenager, it's getting fucking old. Go ahead though, have a good laugh and be a dick. Congratulations, you pissed someone on the internet off and made them feel bad, you win.
