33 Senate Democrats Call For Biden to Take Action to Protect Abortion Access.

    Source: https://thehill.com/homenews/senate...en-to-take-action-to-protect-abortion-access/

33 is less than the 48 Democrats that should be doing this. It's like they want to lose. Granted, 33 is better than I figure they would do, but anyone who is a Democrat should want their whole party stepping up, because you're still going to get fundraising emails from those 15 other Senators. They should have to earn it.

I don't know whether you're talking about Trump or Biden, but either way I'd rather repeatedly hit myself in the dick with a hammer.

That's incitement to violence. You might want to delete your post, or @Bailey will worry the Feds will investigate this place.

I mean if you'd ask I'd tell exactly why some types of posts seem to attract more USSS attention than others, but you instead decided to just be belligerent about it so fuck off.

Nothing matters. The will of the people are not the concern of Congress. They are only concerned with what the wealthy pay them to be concerned with.

Jesus Titty Fucking Christ Pogo Sticking On A Cracker. For someone who is able to school the fucking shit out of 'Merkins on their own history, you're pretty fucking blind on this subject. Not that you will (nor do I blame you), if you want to post the image I sent you in a PM, go right ahead. Because that would absolutely get the fucking Feds poking around here.

We've had people advocating for beating cops, and I don't recall you saying that such posts should be deleted. We've had posters sharing biblical verses that basically called for the death of various Presidents (both Republican and Democratic) and I don't recall you saying that they should delete said posts. But I post publicly available information about where certain SCOTUS members live, and you're calling for me to delete that post. Flip it and have someone here post the addresses of Kagan, Sotomayor, Breyer, or Ketanji Brown-Jackson, and I might not be happy about it, but I'm not going to say that said posts should be deleted. They're public figures, so it goes with the territory. Somebody advocates that any political figure in the US should be physically harmed, and I'll object, regardless of their politics. But if they're asked to leave a restaurant because the people running it don't agree with their political beliefs? No problem. Doesn't matter what side of the political spectrum they're on, that's polite. That's not suggesting their food be unsanitary or poisoned.

Get a fucking grip, dude, and realize that the US is as close to civil war as it was in 1860. Which is not only fucking bad for us 'Merkins, but also the planet as a whole.

Considering the military is one of the primary sources of rape (of both foreigners and US female soldiers), this seems like a pretty hollow statement. Better to just abort the military entirely. I mean, after all, there is nothing in the constitution that gives military personnel the right not to get murdered. Seems like we should just leave it up to the states.

You realise I'm a mod as well right, and if I thought it absolutely should be deleted I would have just done so?

All I said was "please don't do that here", because on other boards I'm part of it's been more trouble than it's worth.

Balls. Show me where you told Maud to not do that here when it came to his posts calling for civil war. TLS advocated violence and you didn’t suggest that it delete that post. Drug use is still illegal in most of the US, you ever told anyone here to STFU about that?

As for calling me out with supposed inconsistency when it comes to Muad Dib, I have to apologise for that. You see I'm one of those suckers who exists in linear time, which means for me 8 years have elapsed since he last posted here.

Alas, that I could have used observations and learnings before they had happened, but basic causality and all that.

    1. It was a request, note I didn't edit anything or demand it be edited.

    2. This is something I've been consistent on for years now. When it comes to things that can be perceived as direct threats to high profile US government figures (Presidents major leaders, supreme court judges, etc) I'm literally active on boards where admins have got knocks on the door demanding to know posters info so they could in turn get a visit.

I'm not editing any of it out myself because WF has no rules against it and hey different country so I wouldn't be getting the visit. I don't even think that things like posting their addresses is necessarily bad. The USSC upheld that non-violent protests at private residences are protected, so let them taste some consequences and have awareness that they are part of the society they rule. Just suggesting (asking, not mandating) to be a bit smarter about it.

You knew enough to rake him over the coals for his "state's rights" arguments, but you somehow missed that advocating for civil war was a bad idea, not to mention likely to attract the attention of government organizations? Really? Seriously, dude.

Yet you didn't make the same request of someone advocating for actual violence against a government body. What do you think is more likely to attract the attention of a government? Someone reposting publicly available information that's all over the largest social media networks or someone advocating violence against a state government?

And yet, you don't consider what TLS said to be a "direct threat," why?

SCOTUS, as well as the US government as a whole, has been wildly inconsistent about what constitutes a threat. For example, SCOTUS has ruled that it's perfectly okay to protest outside the homes of people who work for women's health clinics, but now that they're subjected to a fraction of what those people have had to deal with, it's a "problem" that people stand outside of the homes of folks like Kavanaugh, Barrett, etc., holding up signs in support of reproductive rights. Elsewhere in the US, we have people peacefully protesting for reproductive rights being beaten by cops.

You're better than this. You know that there are times when folks have to take a stand, even when they're risking their life and liberty because the consequence of not doing so means genocide. If you think that this SCOTUS ruling doesn't put the US at risk of civil war and fucking genocide, you've got as much understanding of American politics as FF does.

Also for what it's worth, anyone who happens to have those Justices addresses, a 10 pack of wire clothes hangers is only $8.99 on Amazon right now. Or there is a 100 pack for $32.75 with same day shipping.
