Oh my god, this whole thing is hilarious, especially the end. Five minutes of debating the government banning Barbie and Oppenheimer.

"If we do not have permission to watch a certain movie, then it is dishonest to go someplace and use a VPN."

That's the spokesborg for Putin. I suppose that I need to point out that if a certain American President were to say something similar about, oh, I don't know, anything, a shitload of 'Merkins who seem to think Putin isn't all that bad, would be storming the White House before she finished.

I love how when the panelist first asked who didn’t have a VPN everyone just nervously chuckled or smiled while making sure no one else raised their hand until the spokesperson chimed in and still they were all:  and clearly relieved when the host moved on.

Is there a youtube version of this sort of thing as IU do not go to that site due to it's direct funding only to horrible right wing terrorist accounts. I didn't ask for better sites before musk started directly funneling money to the right wing terrorists, but it is really time we start avoiding the cesspool.

Looking reasonably good for Ukraine at the moment, it's a damn shame they weren't given cluster ammunition sooner - or better still, aircraft so the cluster ammunition could stay sat in warehouses rather than on a battlefield.

Elsewhere, a while back, I predicted that by end of this month the south would collapse - I may have been a little too eager on that, but perhaps not too much, it's looking like the Russians are close to collapse in a few spots

So they already leaked that today’s aid package will contain DU shells for the Abrams. Which is really a nothing story as y’all sent DUs for your Challenger 2s a while back.

Which means that is what they are most worried about people getting upset over so that means M26 DPICM MLRS are out for this one. A shame because unlike ATACMS we aren’t waiting on the PrSM to replace*. Only plans for the thousands we have in Germany is paying to destroy them.

Hopefully will announce GLSDBs. With them I do believe they can operationally close the south Ukrainian land bridge with Crimea.

    *Such a stupid argument.
“Why do we need so many ATACMS?”
“What if we get into a land war with Russia?”

I know it is the Pentagon’s job to be conservative but I guaran-fuckin-tee you whatever they estimated we needed to fight Russia (and then increased by 50% just to be safe) back in 2021 they were wrong then and they are DEFINITELY wrong now.

Bumping this from Feb (again) because someone always bitches about acronyms. It’s a war thread. There will be military acronyms.

Only one I used that isn’t covered by this is DPCIMs. Dual Purpose/Conventional Improved Munitions. Or ‘how do you say cluster bombs without saying cluster bombs).

It would launch from HIMARS or M270 and basically would be 10x as powerful, twice the range of the 155m DPCIMs we are sending them now.

If someone can't be bothered to comment on a link they post, I can't be bothered to click the link.

That's not what I come here for.

If you feel WF is a twitter aggregator service (seems so) then it's time to shut it down and go directly to the source.

Musk Secretly Used Starlink to Foil Ukrainian Drone Attack on Russian Ships: Report
That's straight from Elmo's mouth. He says he was terrified the attack might lead to Russia using nukes. Not mentioned in the article is that Muskmelon has said that he speaks to Putin about every week. I thought that it was illegal for US citizens to interfere with US foreign policy. And if Elmo's yakking to Pootie-Poot, that's a problem, since SpaceX does have a number of US military contracts.

It’s illegal (but that’s probably unconstitutional) for private US citizens to negotiate foreign policy on behalf of the US government. The Logan Act is basically CYA to make sure that the government isn’t bound by anything a private citizen negotiates.

All that said, Musk really shows how stupid he is with that. Putin’s no genius, but apparently you don’t have to be one to intimidate Elon. Pathetic.

Think USS Monitor or the cartel submarines.

One of the washed up sub drones or sea drones (both are commonly used):

Narco sub interdicted by the USCG:

    IMG_9842.jpeg

And how else except satellite comms do you think the drone operators communicated with the drones in the middle of the Black Sea?

That's a boat. It's controlled by nearby operators above the horizon, probably on another boat.
