Stalin, having witnessed what Jewish people had gone through under Hitler's atrocities, felt that giving them a homeland would help them heal. Personally, I think it was a bad idea, especially considering it was placed on top of a people already living on that land. I'm not a proponent of colonialism, even if the intentions are good. We have seen too many times throughout history that there is almost always a clashing of peoples, and innocents die as a result. That kind of meddling rarely leads to anything good, again, despite the clearly good intentions behind it.

No, I'm very clear on what is going on. The IDF/IOF is telling Palestinians to go certain places, and then bombing them once they get there. The latest was that they had to clear out of South Gaza and go where? They can't go north, can't go into Israel, and can't go into the sea. The bombs haven't stopped dropping, and 7,000 children have died as a result. The very same IDF that swore it wasn't bombing hospitals is now openly bombing hospitals, using "Hamas tunnels" the same way GW Bush used "9/11" to murder a shitload of innocents in open view of everyone.

I am very aware of who is being murdered. I've lost 3 Palestinian friends due to this genocidal campaign, our organizations that I work with have lost dozens, including a few journalists, since Israel is directly targeting journalists. I have seen shit I would never wish upon anyone, and the brutality of the IDF and its penchant for Nazi tactics is horrifying. You don't believe it, I know, there is not thing one I can do about that.

All of that said, I have answered the original poster's inane and pointless question. All I can do now is hope the rest of you see what I've seen, and maybe you'll finally understand. Time will have to tell. Time that is being paid for in Palestinian blood.

Nope. That wasn't why he was banned. He was banned because he was repeatedly warned for shitting up threads in MC. Here's one thread discussing it. I know that there was another. I think that @Bickendan was the one who pulled the trigger after seeing how many times Dayton was banned.

Gturner was banned for shitting up a bunch of threads with walls of text. This was done somewhat arbitrarily by a former mod/admin. Not saying that they were right for doing so, but I'd be lying if I said that I miss him any more than I miss John Castle. Neither of them brought anything significant to the board.
