    Cops and prosecutors are using junk science debunked by the FBI (albeit they originally funded the guy hawking it) that purports to tell by voice analysis whether a 911 caller actually committed the crime themselves. The guy pushing it is careful never to be called as an expert witness and thus risk a court precedent going against him - instead he "lectures" to cops and other law enforcement types who go on to espouse his theories.
