So she filmed the rape and put it on social media so someone would call 911 instead of actually calling 911? I know teenagers don't think straight, but this is absolutely absurd. I wonder if the guy has a record? Also, I'd like to pitch in on the comet project.

That is a fair point. I live in Ohio, and I'm sober, so gods only knows what's wrong with me. Still, even drunk, this is a terrible thing, and I still hate this shittastic state. If you ever visit the U.S., as cool as it would be to meet you, I recommend avoiding Ohio. It is a silly place.

I refuse to believe that teenagers are this goddamned stupid to not call the police first. If she was sober enough to record this and laugh about it on the audio, she was sober enough to dial 911.

 

We don't punish people for tendencies, but for the inability to control them.

She shouldn't, is mine. At least for nowhere near as long as a sober adult who did the same thing, much less for as long as the rapist.

Yes, of course. I don't think anyone disagrees with that. The question is whether the same behaviour should still be persecuted as a felony when it comes from an inebriated barely adult girl.

 

I think you'll find very few people support that point of view.

 

This girl is essentially an accessory. She should certainly face punishment.
