That's apparently his page, but I missed that he's using a photo of the columnist he sued as his avatar. This is supposedly the murderer. Interesting they list his race as White.
actually, I think you'd want to challenge this on "correlation equaling causation" or "slippery slope". You'd lose because it's a valid example of the previously stated thesis.
But he is not white because the gun nuts desperately don't want him to be. It really does not matter. The dead don't care. They are still dead, and we still have record numbers of shootings. The idea that somehow we will solve this shooting problem if we see what color the shooter is neglects the reality that this is what happens when you have guns as easy access across your environment. The problem with relying on good guys with guns to stop gun crimes is the good guys are never going to be able to stop the ever increasing numbers of gun crimes because they don't buy guns to save society, only themselves.
that's why we try not to let her have tequila (or hard liquor of any sort).. insta Ghetto Bitch Barbie
It's an older article, but I wouldn't be surprised if the trend has continued. I know the Sutherland Springs murderer had committed domestic violence. What Mass Killers Really Have in Common
So now that we all know that this was a personal beef stemming from as far back as 2011, can we put this "it's Trump's fault" idiocy to bed?
If you are talking about the idea that Trump has emboldened violent actions from his followers and his influence of increasing anger has perhaps lowered the threshold of people snapping, no. Why did this guy not shoot up the place in the Obama years and wait until now? It might very well be that part of the cause is the conflict and rhetoric of Trump. I would personally wait for the full investigation before putting trump on the pile, but I would not count him out either. People snapped before Trump also, but it is not like Trump has not inserted himself into the equation of many violent incidents recently.
I pondered your question and realized that you may be thinking of something else. I'm not saying it's not domestic. The killer was probably American, and not a foreigner. I'm saying given that the killer obscured his fingerprints to make identification harder that it's probably not a domestic issue in the sense that it's between something like a husband and wife. Not saying it's not possible but it's rather unlikely that a husband bent on killing his spouse would mess with his fingerprints.
You seriously think that the claim is that Trump supporters are like Soviet sleeper agents, living a normal life until the right code work activates them and makes them lash out? That's not how it works, people who commit acts like this almost always have a history of other problems/violence and finally their is some straw that breaks the camels back. The fact that there was even a reasonable question of "could this have happened as a result of Trump repeatedly calling the media the enemy of the people?" means something is wrong. Haven't seen the original footage to verify, but if this is true then it's pretty awesome:
I'm sure it's total coincidence that, after having a personal beef for seven years and not shooting anyone over it, his decision to shoot up the newsroom happened right after a high-profile rant by Trump about journalists being the "enemies of the people" and his Breitbart buddy calling for vigilantes to start shooting them. No, no, there's definitely nothing to see here.
Despite the surname, he was white enough to be taken in alive by armed US cops, instead of being shot eight times (twice in the back)...
Somebody already beat me to it but.....Spaceturkey....I'm going to assume you don't have many Filipinos where you live do you? But more importantly - 1967 called and King Tut wants his beard back! Now the disturbing part - Ramos is the same height & weight & hair color that I am. Side-note I love how arrest reports always list height as 510........510 feet tall?
I saw the most needless (I can never spell 'unnecessary' right) line in a news report ever last night. The CNN website's report said "The shooter's intent was apparently to cause harm." My wife's response was her Han Solo impression: "I'm glad you're here to tell us these things!"
Dated a girl named Tavares in high school. Not sure of the name's origin, but she was Portuguese. Got a coworker named Ocampo, which he says is a Mexican name. He's Filipino, and looks like he might have Chinese ancestry.
I used to work with a guy who's last name was Jose and he was so white he pronounced it "Joes." One of my neighbors is blonde haired and blue-eyed, he's also most assuredly from somewhere south of the Rio Grande.
