I actually listened to that podcast right after it was done. He didn't come across as sincerene, more sarcastic. But
And he lost his book deal! What happened to right-wingers putting free speech above all other considerations?
Wow, they turned on him quicker than anyone could have imagined. Who's taking bets on how long until he reinvents himself as a leftist?
Where is the Progressive Left, leaping to defend Milo from the classic strategy of discrediting a gay man by floating accusations of pedophilia? Haven't we been indoctrinated over the past 25 years to believe that homosexuality has no inherent association with pedophilia? Personally, I've never been able to understand the "Daddy" fetish, whether you're talking about young gay men or young hetero women. I can't imagine anything that would be more of a turn-off than someone who reminded me of my father. Yet Milo is arguing that older gay "daddies" teach youngsters the sexual ropes. And young women frequently look for sugar daddies who will spend money on them in exchange for sexual favors. Yuck.
I'm surprised 14th Douche didn't start a thread about Polanski's latest attempt to negotiate a return to the US. He'll grace us with his presence again, if only he can get some guarantees that he won't face punishment for anally raping a 13 y/o and then fleeing the country.
Yeah, that element of it is definitely awful... but since Milo had no problem making similar accusations against the trans community, I'm considering it karma.
The Podcast is pissed that the Reagan Battalion was credited by name but they were credited as "Podcast," "Host," and "Other." They're also angry that the conversation was taken out of context and they don't want to be responsible for his downfall, but mostly the not being credited thing. The episode in question. The most recent episode in which they talk about this incident for the first hour or so. It's The Drunken Peasants. It's hosted by The Amazing Atheist, The Amazing Atheist's Brother, Paul's Ego, and some guy named Ben. I met all of them this summer, they're pretty awesome. Although, Paul's Ego sexually assaulted me, The Amazing Atheist sexually assaulted me twice and said libelous things about me on Twitter, and Ben accidentally showed me a picture of his penis.
Milo is the latest in the long, sad line of empty-headed nobodies who are milking their fifteen minutes. He'll crawl back into the muck from whence he came soon enough. I've watched a number of The Amazing Atheist's videos. Another bloviating idiot on the internet who's far more impressed with himself than his "achievements" warrant.
So Milo supports pedophile relationships. How long has the right been looking for a faggot like this? Milo is the embodiment of every right wing hate statement against gays. They supposedly hate the guy, but they want to parade him around so people can see gays really are sultry disease spreading assholes who want to invade your church and fuck your children. That is the only reason for the right to invite this guy to speak. I have to love CPAC who invites the guy to speak and then comes to their own rescue and bans him. It is all about finding a gay man willing to get paid to be the embodiment of a hateful stereotype. I want confirmation this guy is actually gay.
Apparently there were quite a few snowflakes at Breitbart that were going to quit if he didn't leave.
Here's the original post that sent everyone into a tizzy: http://wordforge.net/index.php?posts/1866667/ In the nearly eight years since, he's gone on to explain that the system fucked up by the prosecutor promising a slap on the wrist only for the judge to say "nope, fuck that." Plus, we all know that the survivor's biggest reason for "letting it go" had much to do with being treated worse than Polanski was in the trial. I'll say what I said then: he can be tried for obstruction of justice and she won't have to be involved. But to get away with it entirely just because he could wait it out in Europe for three decades? Fuck that.
Yeah, I saw that episode when it was new, and because of that, and the Joe Rogan episode that preceded it, I thought his views on the subject were common knowledge. When all this exploded I was like "what? He said it...AGAIN? ", I was naively oblivious that this wasn't well known to everyone.
