X-Files has continued to live on in syndication and DVD, but fans haven't forgotten just how horribly the series ended, and what a total mess the alien conspiracy plot became.
Yep. X-Files has become the classic example of making up a mythology as you go along, then realizing there's no way to wrap up the random storylines. Sure Twin Peaks did it first but fortunately they only stretched the build up with no pay off for two seasons. Lost has a chance of stealing the crown but I don't think it will ever become as popular as X-Files.
Actually she's been making quite a success career in British theatre, television and cinema and for those who don't know much about her she spent a large chunk of her childhood in London and now lives here. Course, you lot wouldn't hear about that sort of thing in the States
