You guys are slacking! Sun/Jin-centric last night. Thought it was an okay. Was wondering why the hell Sun felt the need to confess all her issues to Juliet. Nothing really moved the plot along at all though. Really liked the Jin Fu spin kick when he was battling Zombie Mikhail! And is up w/ THAT!?! How come he didn't stay dead? And how come we haven't seen anyone else (Boone, Eko, Libby, Ethan) come back to life? The more I see, the more I think they're just all in Purgatory, despite what the show's creative people deny.
I did like the revelation at the end though. They found flight 815 and everyone was dead. Okkkkkkk, so what is going on. Are the Losties clones, or did the Dharma folks substitute bodies in the plane wreckage. Because there was no way any of the Losties should have been able to survive.
**SPOILERS** I laughed my ass off when Hurley shot that flare gun. "Nobody knows we're here!" *FOOOOOM.....POP!* "Sorry." I was really hoping that Jin would be able to bust out a little TKD like a good young Korean man, but I was honestly a bit disappointed with his slow, telegraphed movements.
Or maybe they're all in Purgatory, and the new parachutist chick actually died of her injuries and joined them there. If not, it does bring up the question of what happened to Michael and Walt. They left the island, haven't been seen since. But if they made it back to the Real World, obviously the "no survivors" scenario would be blown away.
I enjoyed it. Loved seeing Sun show her emotional strength as well as her softness. The problem I have with Sun-centric stories is I spend the whole time thinking "Good GOD she's beautiful!!" and not paying attention to the story. The new girl is Marsha Thomason, who was the hot black chick with the sexy English accent on Las Vegas. Nice to see her again.
So either this parachute chick is lying, the Others/Dharma faked the Oceanic 815 crash site, or she's telling the truth and Desmond's magnetic thing that crashed 815 created some sort duplicate. Even if she's not lying, it's possible that she left on her mission before Walt and Michael got back safely. But I think she's lying. No idea why, however. She might be an Other, part of Ben's plan or something.
Since they've revealed more about the character, I've assumed that, Ben being Ben, he had some kind of timed detonator strapped to a couple of C4 bricks on that rickety old boat.
It would be better just to kill them off, since they've been gone for less than a month, and already the actor that plays Walt has aged by a year. Probably about six inches taller, sporting a mustache.
