I would tend to agree, but, I could see it as plausable. But, who cares? Its not going to stop people from buying the book, now, is it?
The other recent fake ending was both more plausible and more enjoyable, despite being a rip of the Sopranos.
Meh, I need to reread the first 5 or 6 first. But I'm rereading The Golden Compass right now, and that takes precedence. I don't believe this spoiler at all. When's the book coming out again, BTW?
They'd then get caught up in and have to respond to every Internet "revelation." Even if this "spoiler" were true--and I'd be truly surprised if Hermione bites the dust in the end--it's not likely to affect the book sales. People who are sooooo much into the series that they'd be interested in spoilers will still buy the book to (1) enjoy the last installment and (2) see if the spoilers were true.
