Shouldnt they be checkig n social security finger prints for welfare? What US is suppose to be welfare state for mexico. Dont want my tax payers going toward thissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
It's not illegal aliens who get welfare...their American born children do. These illegals come up here and pop out 3-10 kiddies and America pays for them through welfare, free education, and free medical. So while the immigrants themselves are a drain, it is their kids which really cost us the most.
You are a lousy troll, Baba. It's hard to be outraged by what they say when all you can feel is pity for the poster.
And I'm pretty sure they can just walk into the welfare office, say, "Yo es illegal immigrante" and get all the welfare they want anyway. I don't think the case workers are even supposed to ask about immigration status.
So wait I am confused...the illegal aliens are lazy welfare bums...but who are also stealing our jobs...??? Amazing. Next you will tell me that war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is truth...
Thankfully in California, the law gives people a finite amount of time they can have welfare (I think it's a five-year lifetime limit) and won't change the amount of money given regardless of how many other springs they wanna push out. Come on welfare with two kids, get seven hundred bucks. Get knocked up with triplets, then you better hope you have generous family, friends and neighbors to help out. As well it should be, to discourage people from breeding for money-- like my aunt who waiting fourteen YEARS to get pregnant again because her oldest was turning eighteen and the gravy train was drying up. That was way back in the early 90's, when people could still pull shit shit.
You can get a shitty, low paying job and still be on welfare of one kind or another. Subsidized housing is open to people with jobs. So are lower telephone and energy bills, food stamps, etc.. Welcome to the real world.
Actually, California is considered to be "noncompliant" with the Clinton welfare reform that put a time limit on welfare, and the state is facing sanctions if it doesn't kick a few million people off welfare who shouldn't be on it by federal standards. Fabian Nunez, our esteemed Assembly Speaker, doesn't care about federal sanctions. He has said that he will fight to keep all those people on the dole, federal sanctions notwithstanding.
