New TV!

    Display models finally went on clearance at work...

    Picked up a 37" Magnavox HDTV LCD.

    30% off, then 10% employee discount, then 10% off for opening a credit card, ending price: $435.

    It was a deal too good to pass up, went on sale today so I bought it during my lunch break and stashed it in the control room until my shift was open.

    HDTVs, especially LCDs, amplify any static in the signal, so my regular old standard definition cable tv looks pretty weak. DVDs and video games look great though.

    Probably gonna go out and pick up some component cables for my Wii and my DVD player though, that should help things even more.

    1366x768, cool that it has true 16:9 viewing and not 16:10. :)
