I tend to find myself spending far more time on the computer each day than watching television. I think I like using the Computer more because its interasctive, whereas with TV, all I can do is sit there and watch.

    How bout you?

Once I have TOS, Twilight Zone, and the first 6 seasons of All In The Family on DVD, bye, bye, cable.

Computer, by far. TV is now pretty much just for watching movies.

You would think since they have trash like midget fighting on Jerry Springer, I would give up on TV.

But since I found the midget fighting clip using the computer (Youtube) I'm really in a vicious circle, aren't I?

You know...what made me ask this question is that I was going over my bils, and couldn't help but notice that I am paying close to $100 a month for cable .....all while I spend more time here on my terminal than in front of the tube

I think its time to call the cable people and tell then to come get their box.

    Computer, by far.

About the only thing I don't use the computer for is watching movies, because my monitor is only 17". But I'm hardly able to sit down and watch TV anyway as I work most days of the week.

Computer, certainly. But I imagine the members of WF is kind of a biased sample. ;)

TV, still by a decent margin. But only because I can DVR everything and skip the damned commercials. I do a lot of gaming and surfing on the PC, but the monitor and sound just don't compare to what I get with my TV room setup.

My ideal would be a TV with all the capabilities of a computer monitor, connected to my PC and cable box, with a wireless keyboard added to my remote collection. All my computer games on the big speakers and screen, no longer moving from couch to desk in order to switch from TV to internet. Just plant my ass in one spot and watch it grow. :diacanu:

Computer. The only thing I even use the TV for anymore is to watch movies(even though I could do that on my MBP) and watch Heroes.

    That's it.

    Computer.

I'll watch The Big Bang Theory and Stargate Atlantis once a week and maybe some Family Guy or South Park... but I use my computer for most of my classes and I waste a lot of time on WF.

And there are quite a few TV's out there that can actually double as a computer monitor; and consequently, many computers with Tv tuners installed. I may just shell out the dough for one of those one of these days to save space in my already over-crowded room. Then I'll enough space to buy moar mangas. :)

I had that setup at my old place, I didn't set it back up when I moved. My girlfriend likes watching tv when I'm on the computer so me taking up the tv for my internet surfing wasn't the best solution anymore.
