It was hung on a chain link fence surrounding an open lot next to a Circuit City and a taco shack. Viva la Revolution!
There's a few up around town... At the homes of various individuals not known for getting along with others.
Apparently, someone around my area is going around and knocking/taking down any of them that they see up... They were getting yelled at by the cops the other day...
A few weeks ago, I made a post about not having seen one sign or bumper sticker for Ron Paul in the greater Los Angeles area. I now stand corrected.
Were the signs on public or private property. If on private property then I could see calling the cops, but on public property thats called litter. Anything left on public property by someone should be discarded. I have just as much right to remove a sign left on public property than someone else does to put it up.
I couldn't see through the tears of laughter I cried when I saw "Ron Paul for President." Just thinking about it gave me a little giggle.
Depends on what jurisdiction you're in, but campaign signs do not count as litter, and any intentional destruction of same could get you charged with something like vandalism.
Yup... it became a major issue a few years ago in a local election. With people driving around taking down specific candidates signs, so it was made a big deal that our town has an ordnance that campaign signs can't be messed with.
Good then, after the election we should get everyone to go and throw their election signs and stuff in your yard, since its not litter .
I've seen one Ron Paul sign. It says Ron Paul and then in bog bold letters it says Revolution but the evol part is turned around to spell "LOVE" in it's own type box. Not sure what love has to do with anything. Funny thing is the sign location. It's on the fence to Opa Locka airport and the area Opa Locka is very heavily black and poor. It's a rough area off the main roads. I can't see the people in that area voting for Ron Paul.
