Sounds like you got problems, EP.

Query: Do you love her? I mean honestly, do you?

    Oh PuhLeaze!

The Warden would be like..."How could you do that? Never mind...I know how...it's because you don't care. You don't care about stuff. You don't care about anything at all..."

    Wait for it...

"If you don't care about that, [whatever it was I ruined and/or destroyed on accident]...how could you care about.....me?"

EP has got Jack and Shit on me in that department.

    ....and yeah...I love her. :busheep:

If my mom is stressed out, she might make a huge deal about it.
My dad's more likely to stress, though.

If she's not stressed out, she'll nag at my dad to clean it up, and he will.

Then why post this "cry for help" nonsense? Every week or so we get another "EP Question About Wives Acting Like Total Cunts"

The way you describe your wife, she's a raging bitch who hates you. So either that's an accurate description, in which case you should kick her ass to the curb, or else you're not telling the whole story, exaggerating, etc, etc, in which case just STFU with this nonsense.

Either way, you don't need all of WF to say "Yeah, you're wife's acting like a total cunt."

Seriously? Is she kidding when she says that? :wtf:

I mean, I love my wife and all, but I won't be unnecessarily bitched at by anybody.

And she's the same way.

Agreed. If my fiancee tried pulling that crap on me, I'd let her know in no uncertain terms I wasn't standing for it.

Thankfully, she's a modern lady, and not exactly prone to emotional outburts like that.

I don't mean to stick my nose where it doesn't belong, but that doesn't seem "small" to me. I mean, if she's behaving like that over a dropped plate...

I dunno. It seems like the tip of a very large underlying issue to me. But of course I don't know the whole story. All I have to go on is that, so maybe it isn't as serious as it appears.

Hm. I do not have a spouse and I don't even remember the last time I spilled anything.

I propose that being married turns your brain to mush and makes you a klutz.

    Codependency?

(I am not being judgemental...I know a HELL of a lot about codependency, from personal experience. Hell, I am typing this from my ex-wife's computer...because she asked me to spend the night to help her out...again.)

Anyway, my folks...they have - and have always had - a very fucked up and hostile and abusive relationship. They, and my brother, are VERY high strung. They FREAK OUT over spilled milk.

Seriously, always hated how if one person spilled something, there would be a lot of yelling and screaming at each over it - where as my natural reaction would be to just laugh and clean it up.

And when I didn't freak out and get all enraged over silly little accidents, THAT would upset my folks more, and they would yell louder and get all in your face and try to make you get upset with them. Spilling something pissed them off...but NOT overacting to it ENRAGED them. And my brother is the same.

I try to be much more easy going about things. OCD and anxiety don't always make it easy, but I just never understood all the drama over tiny little stuff. So much negative energy...it was opressive to grow up around.

For all the problems my ex-wife and I had when married, yelling and screaming at each other was never really one of them.

    Thankfully.

Anyway, I don't often read Blue Room threads...but from what little I have read here, it seems that EP's wife is VERY judgemental of him...like she looks down on him and let's him know it, and that just seeems to make him feel worse about himself, and then she just gets even more disgusted with him for that.

EP seems like a nice guy and deserves better than that. But liek me, has very little self confidence and frears being alone.

Back before we started treating her depression, my wife was easily agitated to brief, intense, anger which even she knew was wrong when she came down.

    Now?

I can't remember the last time she raised her voice to me? I certainly know she treats me way better than I deserve and I can't imagine any other woman being HALF as loving and tolerant to me as she is.

Of course, she's a might clingy sometimes but she's far closer to perfect than I have any right to.

    YMMV.

I grin, and indulge in the purest Schadenfreude, because he's the one that always nags the rest of us about the risk of spilling. ;)
