Okay, I've seen enough Facebook groups about this to go mildly insane. People can't tell there's a D in this picture: Why can't people tell? What's so difficult about it? The D is obviously there! It's not "Walt X-isney," It's "Walt Disney." I've ALWAYS been able to read that letter, and I cannot understand how someone would be unable to see that it's a D. It has to be a D, otherwise how could you read it? I'd like to make a Facebook group called "I've ALWAYS known that's a D in the Disney logo. Why didn't you?" but I'd like to see if there's already one out there for that.
I used to have that book!! Where'd it go? ....oh yeah, I boxed it up with a bunch of other old books....and put it up in the garage.....wherepon dad took 'em to...the dump....sonofabitch.... That was worth something...a lot of them were...cocksucker...
When I was learning to write I LOVED how that was D was written, so for years I copied that style. My maiden name started with that letter so I got lotsa practice
I never had a problem with the D. It was the Y that threw me! For YEARS I thought there was an alternate spelling of Disnep. I figured it was Disnep (but pronounced Disney) that had founded Disney.
for years my ex husband referrred to all Disney movies as "Disnep" productions. We thought it was funny, other people just thought he was retarded. We were both right.
That's nothing. What pisses me off is all the people (and there are a ton of them) who now think the ACTUAL proper spelling of Santa's last name is "Clause" Dumb asses. 150 years of "Santa Claus" and Disney makes a movie and so many of these ignoramuses don't know what the hell the word "clause" means and no every time they write it down it's "Santa Clause" Might as well just get "I'm a moron" tattooed on your forehead.
Is this really a problem? Are there roving bands of retards running around talking about "isney" movies or something? I had NO idea!
Personally though, I've never heard of people who couldn't see the D in Disney. That's just wier. Pun intended.
How can you tell a Scottish poet from an American cartoonist? Rabbie burns but Walt disnae... Thank you, I'll be here all week...
actually...i couldnt tell til a couple of years ago... i just thought it was an awkward backward 6 or a J....when i finally noticed I felt like a retard.
