So what music do you like to listen to that absolutely none of your friends like?

For example, I don't like speed metal but the majority of my friends do. The rest like country.

But I like to listen to blue grass and gospel and techno and some Goth.

Yoko Kanno, but only because none of my friends are into anime and they haven't heard her utter brilliance.

You got that knee-mounted cassette player like the kid in Iron Eagle?

Actually, if you feel like dropping the cash (I don't), you can buy headsets for the aircraft that you can plug an Ipod into. The neat thing is that there's a sensor built in that automatically cuts out the Ipod feed when a radio call comes over the headset.

The whole kneeboard cassette player thing is so 80's. :D

most of my music is based in my circle of friends. I mean, some friend or another likes the same thing. We take bits and bobs from each other

well, in addition to the reams of metal, goth and industrial on my ipod, i also have some pop tunes my mates go :wtf: at - namely a few britney, sugababe and kylie tunes.

and ruby, i don't know anyone else who likes ruby, which is a pity.

    :calli: pop :calli:

Flow hates what teaching JR/High school kids has done to what I listen to. :ramen:

I still listen to all the other stuff. Rock and country mostly, but just not as often anymore. :diacanu:

I also listen to some opera, classical, and swing music. (as in twenties big sound :garamet: )

About 75% of my music is stuff that my friends don't listen to.

We agree on a lot of mainstream rock like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, and others. But I also listen to a lot of indie stuff that they don't.
