Didn't see a beer thread in here, thought I should make one. What is everyone drinking tonight and/or your favorite brews? I'll start with my favorite beer, dogfish head 90 minute IPA
Blue Moon is at the top of my favorite beer list, at the moment. Wish I was drinkin' one now. But alas, it is late and I have to be at work early tomorrow. Have a cold one, for me, my beer-lovin brother.
Sea Dog Blue Paw White Ale. Had it at the Sea Dog microbrewery in Bangor. The drafts I have found in Florida have tasted watered down.
Best mass-produced American beer by a very long chalk... What I drink when I'm in the US and not near a micro-brewery (anyone that says the US doesn't brew any decent beer has only ever had Budweiser or the other crap). Favourite? Abbott Ale. Favourite lager? Depends on the circumstances: Becks, Budwar (the real, Czech, one), Nastro Azzuro all get a nod. Favourite bitter? Um. It'd probably be easier to list those I don't like. I like beer.
Hark at Mrs pretentious there calling it that, when all the plebs know it as 'that eyetie beer' or at best, Peroni Not much beats a very cold Kronenbourg or Lowenbrau, and Tiger is nice with a curry.
Tiger with curry? Fucking chav You should always go for Kingfisher, it's far more authentic... ...being brewed in Surrey and all.
Magners is the Nu-Strongbow IMO. I dunno, lets apply the acid-chav test. Darkening, which do you drink on the street corner after a hard days ASBOing and petty theft?
Gul was a beer drinking WForger who always used to have a beer themed av. He hasn't been around since I came back.
I can get a beer called "Tiger" here in Honolulu. But the only place I can get it is one of the two major nudie bars on the edge of Waikiki. I remember it being pretty tasty. Maybe I shall see if it is as good as I remember.
Used to be able to get San Francisco Anchor Steam beer, although I haven't seen it for a while. To my everlasting regret, that was bloody nice.
White can with black lettering ROCKS! At 2 dollars a 6-pack it's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I had home-made beer in Poland that we were warned to drink within 2 weeks or it would go bad. I waited about 6 weeks, and they weren't just whistling KRTYZKLTP when they gave us that advice.
