Three worlds... one hope. This show aired a few years ago in Canada and South Africa. It is one of the most creative and unique sci-fi shows that I've seen in years. The acting and production values are stellar. I can't say enough good things about this show. It only lasted one season, but without spoiling anything I will say the final episode satisfactorily wraps up the main conflict and does leaves the door open for a second season. Give the show a chance. It takes about five or six episodes to really get traction, but once it does... wow. P.S. - here's a flavour of what the show looks like. The video quality is crap but it's the best trailer I could find. http://grantalias.vox.com/library/video/6a00cdf3a48471cb8f00d09e4589a3be2b.html
Only the one world, Alpha, looks a bit like Blade Runner. The other two worlds (Beta and Gamma) have their own unique look. The show's creators, directors and production crew did a great job with the different visual styles of each alternate universe.
Wanted to DVR it, but the box was full--stupid wife "had to" record "Holes" (which we've seen before a few times) from the HD channel, and she overloaded the box capacity.
