So China emits more greenhouse gases than America? Will environmental groups redirect their campaigning and lobbying efforts toward China instead of America?

Getting close to time for my run to Taco Bell. Look for a spike in greenhouse gas emissions in, oh, about an hour.

That's why the whole Kyoto treaty was a joke and why it was a good thing the US never signed the damn thing.:D

It's also why it's so stupid for the Gorebots to be so obsessed with going Green..if China ain't going to do anything then it's pretty much a waste of time.

Why is that necessary? Efforts can be directed toward both.

If you mean that we won't be talking about Chinese politics on Wordforge, you're correct. But that's merely because there are no Chinese people here.

No, I mean that there will be no interest in Chinese emmissions as it wouldn't be en vogue.

So if everyone in Chinatown (100,000 in NYC alone) went green and jumped on the Gore WAgon, it would make a difference to the leaders back in China? :jayzus:

But then again if all America went green but still stayed in bed with China economically/trade reasons what kind of message would we put out?

    No...I didn't claim that.

Putting a message out is not the aim of "going green".

Or possibly because American citizens have a much, much better chance of being able to affect our own country's policies than we do China's?

Given the, for lack of a better word, non-partisanship... of the Chinese government, I would counter that with the argument that Chinese policies are more easily enacted.

Besides, if what you said was gospel, there wouldn't be such butthurt over Tibet.

Algore is that last person who should be preaching to anyone about how they pollute the environment given his personal track record.
