I like almost all kinds of music, even rap and country. Yet, there are some songs that really just.....ugh. Sometimes they're one hit wonders that the radio plays and plays and plays every 5 minutes until one day you just snap. It might not even be a song you would have otherwise hated, but the repetition just takes it's toll on you until you go apeshit. (I kissed a girl, anyone? :bang:) Then there are those songs that you hate hate hate and you know exactly why. For instance, no matter how hot shakira is, she just sounds like a dying cat to me. Finally, there are those songs that absolutely fill you with hatred and you can't get to the button fast enough to change it. No reason to hate it - you just do. I think maybe I was dropped into a vat of scalding hot oil as a baby with love shack playing in the background or something.

What songs do you hate? Why?

Every Nickelback song inspires that sort of sentiment for me.

And that "Mmm Bop" Hanson song

And that Pussycat Dolls "Don't you wish your girlfriend was blahblahblah we're sluts" song.

That strupid goddamned song that sort of combines the hooks from "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Werewolves of London".

On their own, both songs are fine. I'd like to eviscerate the motherfucker who combined them, though. :ualbert:

We Are All On Drugs, by Weezer. I love Weezer, but that song (and the rest of the album, frankly) is beyond horrible.

I hate when a PSA uses a song, like anti-smoking or whatever.

The latest is "Don't be Stupid With Your Skin"

Kurt Cobain was not a musical genius.

Yeah, that's right. I said it.

I can't think of anything at the moment.

Thanks to MP3s, I no longer have to listen to the radio and put up with noise I don't want to hear.

    Nirvana.

God I remember when they came out they were pretty cool but then the fucker blew his head off before gathering a large collection of songs so they play the same three fucking songs all the time.

I hate all of them now. If I could I'd dig his ass up and shoot him a second time.

Celine Dion's cover of AC/DC's You Shook Me All Night Long. There's video of it on YouTube, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I look for it.

In fact, let me just add everything Celine ever did to the list of eye stabbers.

Wow.....where do I start? Just about anything on the radio or TV.

I rarely listen to music radio unless I'm in somebody's car.

    My kids occasionally watch MTV.

Across the board, it all sucks.

BTW, what does "sucker free" mean? Can MTV positively guarantee that not one sucker will be found if and when I tune in to "Sucker Free Latino"
    or "Sucker Free Sunday?"

Maybe I'm suckerphobic and this could push me over the edge. You all saw the CNN footage from the last time....it did not end well! :(
