Conservative view of just how desperate the Dems are getting As a random thought, how many in the media are so incensed at her selection because they didn't break the story ahead of time? Welcome to equal time, Flashy...
Not even a source for this one, huh? What's next, are you going to cut and paste blurbs from people's Myspace pages? PALIN RULZ!!!! LOL!!!!
She was chosen for both, though the latter much more prominently than the former. And that's the real desperation, that McCain has to pick a VP to woo the demographic that should have been solidly behind him to begin with.
Sarah Palin has been on the national scene since last Friday, literally. Sorry Republicans, you got screwed by John McCain one more time.
I don't think it's a progressive or not issue with her not getting the VP pick, it was Obama's camp realizing "All McCain would have to do would be to run snippets of her speeches over the past few months, and then ask 'Not even Obama's running mate believes in him, why should you?'?.
forget the baby - what about the cancer stricken wife? Oh, and what about the question of who's been taking care of obama's two small pre-school children during the last almost 2 solid years BOTh their parents have been on the campaign trail? You know what I think would make an effective comeback to the "what about the children" tactic? Ask how many women serving in Iraq have kids at home being effectively parented by the remaining spouse?
Ann Coulter - haven't heard much from her lately. Seems the McCain campaign put a muzzle on her, much as they did McCain's poor mother, who had a bad habit of saying deliciously embarrassing things.
If you're asking me for one, I don't have one. Just saying what I would do, were I in the McCain camp, and Obama picked Hillary as VP.
The flood of Palin threads here says otherwise. The flood of Palin threads at TBBS and DU says otherwise. The amount of effort the MSM is investing to tear down a VP candidate says otherwise. The polls suggest otherwise. You are an idiot.
Sure, it's Ann Coulter. You know what the really sad thing is here? Her article here is more reasonable than 95% of the stuff put out by the supposedly objective mainstream news. Now that's a sure sign of the desperation of the left and the wisdom of the choice.
Before you start patting the R's on the back for being progressive enough to nominate a woman for VP, you might want to remember that they're 24 years behind.
He was running for the nomination of his party while the media ignored this scandal. In fact a case can be made that he fucked up everyone (except Obama). He knew that the scandal would come out eventually. He knew there was no chance in hell that the Republicans would ignore it if he got the nomination. The odds of him getting elected while cheating on his wife (and having a baby) would be ZERO.
