Really? Have you been living in a cave lately? While is may be just one of several leading election-related topics, IMO it is certainly being discussed, and my perception is pretty much exactly as I've outlined in the OP.

No, I haven't been living in a cave. I just haven't come across examples of liberals criticizing her on the grounds of experience as a primary critique.

I've seen them criticizing her on the grounds that she's clueless, or that we don't know a lot about her, or because of her politics, or because she is vicious, etc.

Most of the times that inexperience is raised it's raised in the context of "because of her inexperience, she's clueless." So it's really a critique of her cluelessness.

Perhaps you can provide links to liberal pundits concentrating their critiques on her lack of experience (rather than the other types of grounds that I discussed.)

I don't know Martok, what is it with you calling people by their real names, their full real names all over the board without their permissions. What is it about you continuing to do that even after being directed by the board ownership to cease?

Do you think that abusing your privilidges some how makes you look clever? Do you think constantly criticizing US citizens for their voting choices makes you look clever?

Do you have any other questions you'd like to ask? Should I anticipate more vile and hatred from a hypocrite like you?

Because time and time again, Palin has looked like an idiot for opening her mouth. Seriously, she needs to shut up.

Palin summed it up best in her own words in the debate.

"I've been at this, what, five weeks?"

He also graduated from Columbia and Harvard, served as an Illinois state senator, and taught constitutional law for over a decade.

Compare that to someone who attended four different colleges (two community colleges and two universities), never spending more than three terms in one place, graduated with a degree in communications, sat on the city council of a town of less than 10,000, and worked for Ted "the internet is tubes" Stevens for 3 years. Also she was going to run for US Senate, but decided not to because her son didn't want her to. I guess she would be able to go to more of his hockey games as Vice President.

Plus, I heard he went to fourth grade in, like, Indonesia. :calli:

    Indonesia, people! INDONESIA!!!

If that doesn't qualify someone to be President, I don't know what does.

On Obama having qualifications? Nope. I thought that was pretty much the point of the thread. :borg:

When did Obama claim experience was a vital qualification?

I know McCain has made that claim before, which is why Palins inexperience is such an issue now.

Did Obama ever make a similar claim?

Obama himself? Perhaps not. Everyone on the left, when talking about Sarah Palin?

    Oh... yes. Very much.

    Very true.

Do you think that's because "everyone on the left" suddenly values experience, or because "everyone on the left" enjoys pointing out how Palin is open to many of the same criticisms McCain makes of Obama?

If McCain believes his criticisms of Obama are valid, then McCain has shown poor decision making by choosing Palin.

If McCain believes his criticisms of Obama aren't valid, then McCain is a liar, and a bad liar at that.

While Obama has been at it all of what three years? Apparently honest direct answers aren't high priorities on Democrats list of things that should be considered. :borg:

George Bush was experienced, and turned out to be a complete and utter fuck tard.

The man right for the job is more important than the petty attacks Republicans are trying to make becuase their useless asses are getting kicked.

Obama tends to have the effect on me too when he is speaking, or doing a press conference.

    Just another similarity huh?
