Not sure what the point of the title is, but Bourne has a long way to go before it reaches 007 status.
Meh, they better come up with some good stories, or it'll go the way of Remo Williams the Adventure Begins (and Ends).
I really don't see Bourne as a Bond killer. If nuBond finds new and/or traditional legs to stand on, that is. As long as the Bond camp tries to copy Bourne, they will fail.
Meh. Saw the first Bourne movie and liked it. Saw the second and found it...enjoyable and yet boring. It was basically the same film as the first one. Didn't even bother with the third installment.
Eh. Read the Bond books. I wanted Bond to get more like Bourne. For my money, up until "Casino Royale", Gordon Parks' "Shaft" was the best Bond film ever made. I guess one could argue that the movies are a completely different animal than the books. But I found them hokey and laughably formulaic: Bond has to have a trick car. But the script doesn't have anyplace for a car chase or anything. No big deal--just shoehorn one in there somewhere. Etc, etc, etc...
