    No.

    For me at least.

There is a certain challenge that I give myself to set goals and reach them without the use of steroids.

Otherwise, I don't really give a fuck. If you want too, go ahead. I know a lot of people who HAVE used them in the past, and they're perfectly healthy. Others? Not so much.

Some heart failure, lots of kidney/liver failure.

Yas, but steroids just make those goals bigger :D

I'm worried there could be disappointment later when natural means just don't cut it.

My goals (500# DL)....(500# Squat)....are quite easy to attain without using steroids.

People I train with, people I correlate with.....have all reached those two goals without using steroids.

Far as I'm concerned, steroids are often about 'looking good'....and not being the biggest, fastest, strongest motherfucker on the planet.

Fuck, I just got a brain wave that I had missed something in this thread, and you got here before I did. :bergman:

That being said, the steroids YOU are talking about, are only being used by professional athletes for the most part.

The average guy doesn't using blood doping agents.

Ahhh I'm trying to remember who I was typing a book on... I think it was the guy who supplied professional athletes with steroids during a certain time period back in the day, but I'm having trouble remembering... Anyway, basically what he said is professional athletes are machines - but give steroids to average Joe and his heart will explode, your body just can't handle it unless you are at a certain level of conditioning.

I occasionally take creatine and protein supplements, but that's as far as I'll go.

No, and even if I wanted to I'm pretty sure they are illegal here (I remember Stallone got into trouble a while back when he brought some into the country)
