I'm going to be getting a 360 (finally) in the next few weeks. Any suggestions on what games to get? (Other than Halo 3)

Thanks! I like FPS, survival horror, and strategy games mostly. Don't care for sports games and things like that.
You can't go wrong with COD4 or WaW, but Modern Warfare 2 will be out later this year so you might want to hold off. Definitely pick up Dead Space if you like survival horror, but stay away from Alone in the Dark because it is broken to bits on the 360 (which is sad because that series used to be great).
Not a big fan of the GTA series. Knocking over old ladies and raping prostitutes was fun for the first 15 minutes, but it kinda got old.
Halo 3 got old. I'd much rather play Halo 2. Oh, and GTA4? Totally not about raping prostitutes. I mean, they have that in there, but it's like playing a mob movie. The missions are what you play for, some people just like using the open world to do things like fuck prostitutes then kill them and take the money back. GTA4 has a great, well thought out storyline with some great characters that create an excellent game experience. Have you ever even got anywhere in the missions? You know, the game.
If racing games are your thing, I had a lot of fun with Grid when I played it. I'd also recommend any wrestling game. It's a shitty "sport" that I can't even watch, but I've always had tons of fun with their games. If you want strategy games you're better off sticking with the computer.
