Well, I can see a scenario in which Obama screws it up so VERY badly that ANYONE can beat him....and I can see him doing the smoke and mirror bit long enough to keep enough folks in the dark to squeak out another one unless he faces a top notch opponent.

All that said though, I think Palin could be a very formindable candidate - in 2020.

    2012 is way too soon

At this point, I don't see her winning the nomination, much less winning the general. The only way I could be wrong is if she spends the next years raising serious cash, giving speeches, helping out in the midterms, and proving to the party higher ups that she hasn't gone bonkers.

It's hard to imagine a scenario in which Obama doesn't seek re-election, barring some personal/family crisis.

2020 is when the tech to stem-cell inject some more brains will be ready, huh?

    No.

No, she wouldn't stand a chance against him. The woman is a moron, and that's the crux of the matter. The idea of that ditz trying to deal with an international crisis is terrifying.

That's true, but then again the leftist media meltdown at any or all her appearances are quite funny as well!

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't choose my President for the lulz factors they give me. We already did that once with Bush Jr. :borg:
