Whats even more absurd is that the government has its own secure data lines. Why they hell do they need to get involved in this.

    Hey Obama..Fuck off you bastard.

Who presumes to decide what a D or an R "should" be, and deigns to declare someone a RINO or DINO?

Democrat and Republican are party affiliations, not ideologies.

Their voting record is a good indication.

And I doubt you can deny specific ideologies have a strong presence in one party or the other. Like how conservatism is more prevalent in the Repub party, or fascism is in the Democrat party. :bergman:

Tell you what, go find a concentration camp survivor, and he'll/she'll disabuse you of your quaint and adorable spoiled fat American political-cartoon definition of "fascism", pretty fucking quick.

If they don't spit in your face first thing after hearing your moronic bullshit.

Wasn't the internet originally developed to keep military lines of communication open during emergencies?

And, of course, if you buy into them being ideologies you've still got the fact that the Democratic cosponsors of the bill are from the DINO-fake-moderate-centrists-who-want-to-compromise-with-themselves-because-fake-bipartisanship-gives-them-hard-ons-and-gets-them-on-the-cable-news-shows wing of the party (Rockefeller, Bayh, Bill Nelson).

Of course, putative rewrite or not, this is a bill that went to committee and died without so much as a hearing, and every time someone complain about such a bill I can't help but yawn and laugh at the same time. There are a spectacular amount and variety of profoundly stupid bills that get introduced for banal political reasons without any intention of action ever being taken on them. This particular bill isn't a notably bad example of the variety; it's rather run-of-the-mill bad.

The last concentration camp survivor I talked to was my grandfather, and he wasn't the spitting type.

Besides, it was a toungue-in-cheek comment. Loosen up, go spooge into a sock or something.

Sure, one could look at it that way, however those affiliations are the basis of the political system in use and as such the affiliation of one in either carries it's own set of rules, reguirements and expectations. I contend that they are indeed ideal based affiliations on many levels.

Now, if she were to consider herself an Independent then there would be no RINO or DINO involved. Independents are free to associate with whomever they choose without being labeled as such.
