I'm glad he acknowledges the problems a large public debt creates for the private economy. Now, what's he going to do about it? (Answer: nothing. He's giving lip service to financial responsibility so that the Chinese will keep buying our bonds.)

See, we've been handling this all wrong. What we should be doing is telling the Democrats and poor people that the Moon is made of Gubmint cheese and we're just trying to go get it. They'll build that space elevator so fast it'll make your head swim.
Unlikely, at least for a while. The first few months were all about making it "his" war. He can't back off that too quickly. Far more likely, this is a prelude to a tax hike. There wasn't a word about curbing spending, just deficits.

This lays the ground work for the Obama Admin. to propose: 1) Massive tax increases on anyone making more than $200,000 a year. 2) Massive defense budget cuts. All the while increasing domestic spending.
Tell the Obamessiah we need the space elevator to reach the moon so the illegal *aliens* can vote and just see what happens.
