The interior of the earth *is* pretty damn hot. It's hot enough to melt most metals and rocks. I doubt it's "millions of degrees" but it's hot down there, chief.

And where can I get this immortality ring? It sounds like a cool christmas gift.

    So, which will it be:

    1. You name 10 places fitting the description, backing up your claim (if there are lots, you shouldn't even break a sweat with ten, and you'll have Al Gore's eternal gratitude).
    2. You pull a "garamet" and say, "You don't deserve an answer". (concession accepted)
    3. You continue to ignore the question.(concession accepted)

I'm not sure what your point is, since to quote my own post:

I'm sure there are more than ten people who live in China, I can't name ten people who live in China off the top of my head though . Guess they don't exist by your logic?

Nonetheless, to satisfy you, here is a list of 41 currently active volcanoes, the most extreme examples that can be given:

    http://www.volcanodiscovery.com/en/erupting_volcanoes.html

I would be willing to bet that the majority of them have temperatures two kilometers underground in the realm of 200 degrees or more.

You know, the group of individuals who claim no party affiliation buy always inexplicably rush to the defense one political side almost exclusively.

I've got a better idea: show me your posts where you defended Bush about a "Bush-ism".

Nah, I think I was pretty much spot on.

No you don't. You're not going to weasel out of it by pretending to forget the details.

The caveat mentioned upthread, which predicated your claim was, "other than hotsprings and volcanoes".

Would you like to try again?

I get most of my science from Bill Nye the Science Guy, sorry Al.

Every time I hear Al Gore talk, I hear it the way it was portrayed on South Park.
