This may be addressed if I dredge deep into the forum, but I'll go to TK if I want to do a needless necro. If you had to choose between Hillary and Obama to be president right now, who would you vote for and why? This is assuming that they are your only choices, RightForge. I'll start off: I'd go for Hillary. We already had an idea what shenanigans she'd get into from dear old Bill's tenure, therefore she's a known element unlike Obama. And, frankly, I don't see Hillary pulling the same stunts that Obama has.
Hillary wouldn't get the blind support Obama does. Plus, she has a self-preservation instinct that would moderate her actions once she had the presidency. I wouldn't really want to vote for either, but I think the country would probably be better off with Hilary than Obama.
Clinton is just as corrupt. If those two are the only choice people would probably Besides eight years of Pres Hilary was enough.
Like I said, I wouldn't want to vote for either. But an attempt at trying to be objective about the two, Hillary would just do less damage. Her kind of corruption tends to the covering her own ass variety and her inability to rally the kind of loyalty Barack seems to be able to would just give her less opportunity for serious destruction. Plus, the media is much more fickle where she is concerned.
I'm not sure that I can make a distinction between them on a political level. So on a personal level, I'm forced to vote against Hilary here, what with her being a ruthless bitch and all.
See that's one thing Hillary's got going for her. I'd rather have someone ruthless as POTUS than someone who is a pussy. She's also more competent and politically savvy, which would make for less embarrassing displays of kowtowing, and she might be smart enough to stop pushing a liberal agenda when she sees she doesn't have the votes, but I'd worry about what she could push through before getting sidelined. And all the sneaky use of judicial that Clinton 1.0 used because he couldn't get laws passed to drive his agenda.

Obama is the black incarnation of Rahm Emanuel (however the fuck you spell his name) who is crooked as hell. I think there's a calculating reason why she's just sitting back letting himself tie the noose around his neck while she bathes in the glory of foreign relation photo ops. She's "up to something."
