A high-school principal puts out his arm to block a student, who was allegedly taking inappropriate pictures of girls with his cellphone. The student resists. A struggle ensues and the student raises a fist. The principal pulls him to the ground and puts him in a headlock, dragging him to detention. Public outcry against the principal ensues. Security footage of the incident is "leaked". More public outcry. I'm honestly not seeing a problem with the principal's actions. News story and video here. I absolutely agree with one of the reader comments on that website, that says being a teacher "is not an easy job and few parents have a clue what their kids are actually up to. Every parent's child is an angel, while it is always someone else's kid that is dealing drugs, or bullying, or acting stupid." What say you, Wordforge?
The little shit got it too easy. Taking inappropriate pictures is probably the least of his shenanigans.
Video doesn't load for me. If the kid got violent, that's it. Restrain, confine, call the parents. Allowing him to raise his hands to anybody, student or faculty, merits no serious consideration at all.
I wonder if anything happened to the kid with the white polka-dotted jacket. It doesn't look like the principal did anything wrong.
Fuck public outcry. Beat that little shit with a Shillelagh, and send him back to his failure parents.
No link? http://www.cbc.ca/canada/nova-scotia/story/2010/06/04/ns-olsen-husband-fells-video.html?ref=rss It's a Canadian story. A co-worker knows him, as she's from out east. It was the topic of three day's worth of lunch hours in the staff room! No, he did nothing wrong. I'm trained in how to take a student down myself...and I will not hesitate to do so if he/she threatens a student, staff or themselves. ETA: I see there was a link in the word 'here'
He should have dragged the little shit by his ear down to his office and wore his ass out with a wooden paddle.
(used for lulz)----------->:wtfturn: What is that emoticon for? I don't have my glasses on, so the 'here' looked the same as the rest of the text.
That kid in the white hooded sweatshirt who ran over to push the principle of of his friend was a whole lot of fail! Anywho, in my day you dare raise your hand to the principle your ass would get worn out twice.....at school , then at home.
