I know......it's so very gay and cheesy, but I can't stop watching. Borrowed season one from a friend just in time for season 2 to start. OMG! That one chunky black girl can sing her ass off! I am gonna be one of the nerds with the soundtrack just so I can hear her sing the bustin windows out yer car song - lol. Anyone else watching? Or rather...anyone else watching and willing to admit it?

I was about to suggest it during a promo for the show, when Mary said "God, that looks stupid!" I reminded her we used to watch Fame religiously.

I've checked out a few eps on Hulu when i was bored and I enjoy it for what it is, I just seldom set aside time for comedy type shows anymore. There are several over the last 5-10 years that i think are funny shows but I just never got hooked into catching them every week.

I'm the same way about Glee.

I have about half a dozen dramas that are "appointment TV" for me and that's it.

It's better than all the crap in ABC Family combined. It's very well put-together. Do I enjoy watching it? No. It's predictable and that kind of humor has run out for me. Do I see why others like it? Yes. You guys have fun with it, the music is good and the kids are fairly talented actors.

Knowing that I enjoyed musicals, my mom suggested I watch the show. I thought it was gonna be lame, but I actually got suckered in right from the first episode I saw. I'm not one that's into all the gloom and doom on TV and there's only so many cop shows one network can have before they all start running together (I'm looking at you, CBS!), so I usually don't keep up with anything besides daytime TV these days. I'm glad there's one show out there that doesn't take itself so damn seriously.

The writing on the show felt a bit familiar and upon more research I found out the producer also produced another show I really enjoyed called "Popular" back ten years ago that had the same satirical humor.

I like it, even though it's retarded.

I watched all of last season, but haven't watched any of this season - too much other stuff going on so I've barely managed to keep somewhat on track with Breaking Bad.

    I think its dvr'd though.

The Mrs. watches regularly. I've watched several times, but it's not a "must-see" for me. But I do enjoy it when I watch....

So just watched the second half of season one in one go.

    So, anyone watching Season Two?

I like the addition of "The Beast" (new FB Coach Biston)--possibly a good future foil for uber-evil Cheerios coach Sue.

Would've liked to see a new kid or two in the Glee Club. I expect they'll add some in later epsodes, like the blonde football playing transfer kid.

Once again, none of the Glee club kids seem to have graduated. Another HS-based show where the kids don't seem to ever age/move-in (See: The White Shadow, Head of the Class, Welcome Back Kotter, etc...).

Saw the Britney episode last night. Not too shabby, although Will's over-the-top actions were hard to watch. Liked the addition of John Stamos as Carl the Dentist. Finn's sudden option to rejoin the FB team was too easy, and missed the chance to build into a bigger plotline, IMO.

And Fame! Danny was there in episode one, and he was there in the last episode, 6 years later.

I havent caught the show but I have caught a few of their cover songs on Sirius and I have to say that they ain't doing too bad a job in that department.
