It's still right here, as "Newsweek" calls Obama "God of All Things" on their cover. Of course they also piss off a bunch of Hindus by depicting him as Shiva. Ironically, Shiva is the destroyer of the world. :marathon:

Go ahead. Click the link. I wish the magazine was an "Onion" mock-up, but apparently it is the actual cover of "Newsweek."

To use football metaphors, in general the U.S. media does not make the tackle.

    They jump on the pile.

In other words, media treatment normally lags behind the opinions of the American people.

Baloney. The US Media always has been completely out of touch with the American people, and in fact has continuously attempted to manipulate the public, which is why they deified Obama in the first place.

Now that he's a complete failure in the eyes of America, they are wisely learning to shut up and back away.

He certainly is working hard at destroying the world. This might be the closest thing to an accurate cover Newsweek has ever had.

Nobel Peace Prize? We knew it had been a joke for a long time. I hope someone has made sure to let the committee see this.

I don't think Obama is responsible for the contents of the cover of Newsweek.

Well, given that Newsweek says he is the "God of All Things", one would think the contents of Newsweek would be within His purview. :marathon:

Yup. It also seemed particularly ironic that he'd be compared to a destroyer god when he'd been given the peace prize.

I just didn't feel like the usual back and forth right then.

I remember when Carter was being given the same treatment. It takes a failed presidency and one left of center to get this from the media. Fortunately, that's changing with the democratization of the mass media. Fox News, the internet, et al, are making crappy, excuse-making journalism like that rarer, fortunately.

Now that is too funny, Newsweek used the destroyer of all things for Obama? I don't even think Carter ever received that bad of a reputation in his four years in the White House.

Isn't that why the President has a cabinet of advisors? With this President he also has a record number of czars as well.
