Posting from your phone as Priscella and your PC as KIRK isn't fooling anyone. I don't know why you keep it up since everyone is on to you.
Palin makes a great pundit and cheerleader for the TEA Party. That's her best role. As a presidential candidate, she's unelectable. If the Reps nominate her, they're going to take a drubbing like the Dems took this year and they'll deserve it.
Nova hasn't seen an episode. The only so-called "reality show" I've watched a complete episode of in...ever...is Tony Danza: Teach I do enjoy the impotent bleating of those who can't stand that people like her though.
Funny you bring this up, because this is something I have pondered ever since the presidential election. I think I have a very good idea why Sarah Palin's fans love her so much. It is the exact same reason Obama devotees love him so much. There are actually a lot of similarities between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama. They are both celebrity politicians. They are both great campaigners. They are both great at motivating their particular bases. And they both get lots and lots of attention (positive and negative). And they are both completely devoid of any real content or experience. Why did so many black folk and other inner city folk turn out in droves during the last election? Most of these folk vote Democrat... but only when they bother to vote at all. In past elections, you'd probably find a really low voter turnout among these populations. Most of these people probably feel completely disconnected from Washington DC politics. But they see Obama as someone with a similar background. He looks like them, he understands their lingo, he is their hope and change. He is their black messiah. Someone they can relate to. Why do so many small town folk and rural folk come out in droves to see Sarah Palin speak? Again, these are people who'd probably vote Republican, if they bother to vote at all. They also feel disconnected from the Washington elite. But Sarah Palin is just like them. She is their country bumpkin. Their hockey mom. She is someone they can relate to. But the joke is on all of us. Because neither of them have the answers to our myriad of problems. The last presidential election was an utter farce. It was a high school popularity contest. On the one hand we had a new celebrity politician running with an old white male seen as part of the establishment. And on the other hand we had... a new celebrity politician running with an old white male seen as part of the establishment! I have no doubt that if McCain and Palin were in office today, we'd still be in exactly the same place economically. And Barack Obama would probably have his own reality show on BET right now. Barack Obama's "Chicago"
There is a reason for this "paleoconservative's bleatings": 1. She is a standard-issue neo-con out of the same mold as Bush and the morons at National Review 2. She seems to fancy herself as some sort of kingmaker, meaning she values her own opinions and influence far too highly. I really didn't appreciate her mucking around in the Delaware primary and elections. She was an outsider and was not really received very well here. 3. She insulted stay-at-home mothers as "Neanderthals" on election night, thus insulting my wife (can't give you a link to that- it was reported in a Christian magazine e-mail list I receive). 4. If she ever got to be president, she'd probably end up bombing Iran since she seems to be just another slobbering war-monger. 5. She's a quitter who couldn't be bothered to complete her obligations to the people of Alaska as governor because it was so important for the GOP to receive her wisdom and service. If I condemned Obama for cutting and running after just 2 years as the senator from Illinois, then Palin deserves just as much grief. I'll stop at 5 reasons but I could probably give you 20. But I'll conclude that Palin is not a genuine conservative, certainly not an intellectual one. She is just another creation of the Fascist-Corporate Complex that runs America. She's nothing special nor unique. And she couldn't hold a candle to Ron Paul. Now, why do you seem so smitten with her? I put (some of) my cards on the table, time for you to do the same.
Is funny in that sad, retarded sort of way that betting on the Special Olympics is, watching this fucking sad, retarded puppet show. When I saw K1A's post, I was like "Whoops! I bet 'Priscilla' will 'respond' to that" and was disappointed when the next post was from Spaceturkey or someone. But then the post after that was 'Priscilla', followed by K1A." I mean, you know the thought process that went into it: K1A: Hmm...What is the most un-K1A username I could possibly come up with? A woman! Named "Priscilla"! But on topic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEiyBbP28g8 (well, marginally, anyway.)
Oh, and potn should totally start posting as his own seeing eye dog. Hey guys! It took awhile, but I finally taught my seeing eye dog to type! Then he could have debates with Dr. Manhattan.
Can we finally just merge the two into some Tuvix-style monstrosity and be done with it? I suggest renaming him PricK1ADM.
I get amused by all of the Palin hate. She isn't going to run for president, she would have to take a pay cut to do that.
Are you saying Dr. Manhattan was POTN? Interesting. Their posting styles didn't really seem to match up.
Really, you mean you never noticed that they both "claim" to be independents, but yet always attack conservatives and defend liberals????
I saw an interview where she states she hasn't ruled it out, and if "it felt right" she would run. Part of me wonders if she is trolling. Putting herself out there as the big target for the Dems to focus on while the RNC figures out where they really are going to go with 2012.
