    Goodbye President Obama.

If unemployment really stays that high for that long, then even a Palin/Huckabee ticket could beat you.

If it stays in that range for so long, Americans won't be blaming President Bush for it anymore.

What could be even worse, if the Fed keeps jacking money into the economy and undermining the dollar, then inflation is going to start spiking. Especially on imports (like oil).

Which means as bad as unemployment is for 14 million Americans, things aren't going to be that great for those of us with jobs.

Well, look at the bright side. Without Porkulus, unemployment would've gotten over 8%. :marathon:

    Huckabee might sell.

Ain't no way a ticket with Palin on it is ever going to be a winner.

Uh oh, continuing high unemployment. We need to raise taxes. That at the government can spend more of our money on things that will do nothing to help the unemployment rate.

I think the President should be proud of himself under his leadership this country is close to the high unemployment rates countries like Germany had.

Fuck them and their predictions, if they were worth a damn they would have seen the whole banking thing coming and the bailout would have been avoided.

I'll never understand the aversion to Mike Huckabee.

He was ranked as the best governor Arkansas had in the last half of the 20th century and was one of the longest serving governors in America at the time he left office.

With major accomplishments in childrens health care at the state level and in education reform.

"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution. But I believe it’s a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God. And that's what we need to do is amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than trying to change God’s standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family."

Although I am a Christian and I think the PC crowd has misinterpreted "freedom of religion" to mean "absence of religion", I have no desire to see the US turned into a Christian theocracy and I fear that would be the direction Huckabee would take us in.
