I have had them before in my legs, its like it locks up and I wake up in the night screaming from the pain and you have to force your toes up to make the cramp stop. I just got one in my right Bicep today after using a chain saw for several hours. It hurt like a mother and I could not straighten my arm out. Its hell getting old. Oh, this is the red room, Fuck Obama and Bill Clinton.

For years, people have said your potassium was low when you had chronic cramps. However, you're a Type 2 Diabetic. Research, over the last several years has shown that Diabetics, for some reason, often have a magnesium deficiency.

Dad's doc talked him into taking a magnesium supplement every day and dad hasn't had a cramp in months.

Doc put me on a pee pill and said I need to eat bananas. I haven't had a banana in a week or two. I don't take any pills or anything for diabetes. My thumb just cramped up a few minutes ago too. I never had that happen before. Maybe I am just tired. That oak tree is 36 inches in diameter. It was 85 feet high and I got it down to about 12 feet but its all I can do to cut through it with the 20 inch bar saw I got. Its mans work, I am aching all over. Finish the rest of the cutting next week end and then the splitting begins.

Pee pills? Lasix? You need potassium. Lasix makes you pee it out.

Hmmm......maybe from stomach surgery recovery, but I can't remember for sure. So if I have, it wasn't very memorable.

Batboy's no doctor, and Batboy does not play one on TV, but Batboy thinks EP should beware of Dihydrogen Monoxide poisoning.

Not regular. Every random number of months Skin will wake up in the early morning hours yellin' and cussin' with a cramped calf muscle. You can feel those comin' on, too. The leg will feel all tight, so the half asleep thing to do is to move the foot around a little, and that's when the cramp comes on like a bear trap.

Same here. But I'm not diabetic and it's not correlated with how many bananas I've been eating or what kind of exercise I've been doing. Just random. I've fortunately gotten to the point that if I wake up in the wee hours of the morning, I'm conscious about not stretching my legs out. Haven't had a charley horse in months.

Yup. Usually a "charlie horse" in a calf muscle if I stretch wrong.

    Hydrochlorothiazide. (HCTZ)

Low potassium is a side effect of it too. Eat a banana. They're high in potassium and it should relieve the muscle cramps.

Ever had a woman nibble your nipples while another woman gave you a rusty trombone and yet another woman accepted your performance of cunnilingus?

I get muscle cramps from training sometimes. Painful, but no big deal.
