What? Is it too soon still?

This one is due on PS3, PC and 360 on Jan. 25, 2011, but a playable demo is due to hit PSN and XBLA on Dec. 21. I enjoyed Dead Space this past September/October to an extent to where I'm really excited about it.

From what I've read, this one occurs 3 years after the incidents on the Ishymura and occurs in a city... so there will be scenes in churches, malls and the city streets. The artwork that I've seen from it looks pretty impressive too.

I'll be playing this one on my PS3 soon!!

    The PVP looks really fun:

The demo is really good. Just as creepy as the first game was.

Hopefully the player interface is more intuitive this time around...

I put down money on the special edition that comes with the Plasma Cutter replica... I need a cheaper hobby/collection.

Between this, Little Big Planet 2, Mass Effect 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Killzone 3, I'm going to be one broke ass SOB in Q1 2011.

I've been playing this game since it came out and I have to say that it is quite an experience. Late night, lights out, headset on with the volume turned all the way up.... Hell yeah!! :techman:

I'm only on Chapter 6 now, but already I can tell that this is head and shoulders above the first, which was great. Visceral Games has another hit on their hands.

Someone in the dorms has a huuuuuge TV in his room that he uses as a monitor. Max-resolution Amnesia: The Dark Descent was AWESOME on that screen. :shakes:

Also, good to hear the game is great! Some of my friends (who unfortunately live off-campus) have gone through it already, and they pretty much only say good things about it! :D I WANT TO PLAY!!!!

Despite my disappointment with the PC user interface on the first Dead Space, I took the plunge and bought Dead Space 2.

I'm currently on Chapter 7 and it's waaaaaay better than the first one. I have to say, however, that the design on the Church of Unitology chapter borrowed heavily from BioShock.

Oh, sweet Jesus. I'm actually scared now.

The first Dead Space did nothing for me. I'm not the kind of guy who jumps at horror movies. But in Chapter 10 you go back aboard the USG Ishimura and it is fucking creepy as hell.

I had to step away from this one for a awhile back in Jan/Feb... I got to a point where I just didn't see myself getting past it... Some four legged behemoth in Level 6 that just kept mauling my ass time after time...

So DS2 has been collecting dust on my shelf until today. I nailed that fucker to a wall with my Javelin gun!! :shakes:

Currently on Chapter 8 and full stem ahead!!

TKO needs to try dragon age for a good d&D fix.
