    Name one major mainstream denominational organization that condones & accepts homosexuality and rejects the notion of homosexual activity as sin.

    The Baptists? Catholics? Pentecostals? Methodists? Mormons? Scientologists? Muslims?

    Maybe the Unitarians, but they're as despised within the fundie community as the gays.

    You start with the basic premise that homosexuality is a sin, a perversion of God's natural design, a deviant lifestyle that shouldn't be promoted as equal to heterosexuality in any way.

    As I stated in my earlier post, the Phelps cult simply carries their beliefs to a degree that most wouldn't.

    Nowhere did I say that all fundies were out protesting funerals of soldiers, but I think it's quite accurate to say the vast majority condemn homosexuality.

    Here and there.
